I'm at a point in my uv mapping/texture routine where I need a few ideas. I have made the basic texture and now I'm looking for texture ideas. I have plans to make the three-color camo for the NETT "Virginia Rose II", an early Playboys and a C/7/1 Cav bird What about a Spanish Navy Z-14? I'm making them 2048 DDS for detail and will include normal maps. This is the work in progress of C/7/1 Cavalry bird out of Muc Hoa 1969.

Interested in the "bomb" method, as I tried to get my flares to work that way...instead, used the rocket method with decent results. If possible, could you make a video so I can see how the flare floats and twirls. I want to get a more natural "bob and float" to it.

Living in a high density service retired city, I see many ads, cards and ties with mini-medals on them. They are usually worn when there is business being conducted. Now, without a DD-214 form in hand, I don't know for a fact if they are telling me the truth. I am very pro military and would lean towards awarding contracts to someone who risked their life or outdid themselves in any fashion while serving - it shows the type of character I would want working for me or representing me. Now, tell me again how there is nothing to gain monetarily from misrepresenting your military record, or lack of it? I mention the policeman and handicapped person because it clearly illustrates what someone can easily get away with with a few lies. We aren't talking free speech in these cases but how people use free speech to perform fraud.

Where does this crap end? One issue could be that a certain mesh has too high of a poly count. I think anything below 3k polys would show.

Only too true, Erik. I think that if people would just be honest with what they want and not be hypocritical, a real solution would eventually surface. For example; during a period when much of the labor was away fighting WW2, a solution was found in the Bracero Program. Everybody won.

I'm not taking any side. I simply try to enhance the obvious hipocracy that is always prevalent in the illegal alien argument. The reason I don't take a side is that there simply isn't one to take that makes any sense. Everyone is guilty and everyone is right-ish. Look, I really doubt the AZ employers are being punished. Its more likely that they are being hampered by some token fine that doesn't equal or exceed the cost benefit that hiring an illegal would provide. If the fine was a million dollars per illegal hired, then you would convince me.
