Well in response... I have a few... SF Europe NATO IV I keep coming back and having fun and finding new things. And from last Year X3 Terran Conflict. But I think my Vote has to be even though I have only had it 3 months give or take... Over Flanders Field Damn is it good...

I am normally found wandering around in a Sopwith Strutter and the rear gunner only opens up when they are nearly point blank range... not fun...

Beat me too it Fubar512... got it spot on... the ALQ-119 pod is a Dual mode pod amongst others... noise Jamming normally wedges out a certain sector on a Radar scope and an AIM-54 Phoenix would give the Jammer a bad day at the office...

Okay not got SF-2E but I have done a few Harrier campaigns with SF1 Europe and the best thing is to fly alone fly low and keep the speed around 400kts and avoid getting into a dogfight that pulls you high up as you will get shotdown by the the horrible SAM types...

Yup spent the day off yesterday playing OFF Hat in the Ring and boy was it fun seeing that 6 days flying was cancelled... at least it allowed my pilot to live a bit longer and get his 2 claims confirmed...

Okay finally got to spend a day playing Hat in the Ring. Had a day off ill so dragged myself to the old PC and fired up OFF Hat in the Ring and promptly created new pilot with 10 RNAS (I think) flying the trusty Sopwith Strutter and my first sortie was a scramble and madness ensued as my usual nemisis was in there Berthold (Cant remember his surname) and I finally shot him down into the sea but this didn't stop him as I circled over him my rear gunner was blasting away with all his might... eventually he blew up on the ground... Anyway second flight I got into another over water fight and the same happened... this time I had other plank wing eindeckers screaming around and all I managed to do was get into another fight and drifted away but managed to get a pic as above. Got back to base and it was reported as no kill no claim form or anything... now this has happened a couple of times now... shoot them down into the channel and they survive... and float around they even shoot at you if you fly in front of them Also came back from one mission and found that the airfield had turned into a train station... Any ideas ??? or is this the old CFS3 rearing its ugly head??? Also my poor wingman got blown to bits I watched him explode by a flak shell and I got back no mention just the poor guy is now on leave... even though I watched the remains of his plane go in from 5000ft... Anyway love the new wind effects as my shooting is even worse and as to the scenery nice... Might have posted this to the wrong place...

Yes it is just down the road from me to be honest its over in Bradford West Yorkshire in a small country called ENGLAND!!!... normally next day or the day after at latest. Just pop CCL into Google and its normally top of the list.

Try looking at the CCL website they usually have good kit and I use them for all my PC hardware also they are a lot cheaper than PC Thief Sorry PC World... order it online and they usually get them out the next day...

No matter what I fly after taking flying lessons a couple of fast jet flights and glider flights I generally do that as you say increases the immersion...

I take it your on about the race to get to the airport about 10 years or so ago to stop NATO in the Balkans ?

Ahh but I plan to fly from 1916 from the Englishmans point of view and all that... as to the German fodder I plan to fly against them to see how badly I fare... I do like a challenge...

Well finally took up a Nieup 11 instead of a Strutter and the damn things all over the sky and how do you aim the gun okay its nice to mix up in a dogfight but that lower wing doesnt look too healthy keep expecting it to fall off... I couldn't hit a barn door at 10 paces let alone an Eindecker dodging for its life sat there worrying the poor guy to death fired all my ammo at him heck even threw my boots at him would have done more damage with those than with the lewis... So I am going back to the Strutter okay it doesnt turn as quick or anything but at least I can hit something with it... I am determined to fly the full war in a squadron... starting with a Strutter... I prefer my fighters heavy weight none of this dance round the ring stuff... Shame it doesnt have 2 guns up front... This also seems to carry through to the Modern fighters as well prefer an F-14 to a F-16 and an F-4 to a Mig-21... oh well...

Hell I did 10 years in the RAF and went to a BAe Presentation on the Eurofighter in 91 and I had left the RAF and there was still no sign there...

Now all they need to do is put it on a diet like the STOVL F-35
