i'll go a few years later bad thing about the older topics, sometimes you gotta take a really educated guess. this is similar to the ADFs they flew before block 25, but no references specifically of the wing king in 1997-8

Need help with 'DefaultFor=' for Attack in loadout
daddyairplanes replied to Eagle114th's topic in Mods & Skinning Discussion
oh i was gettin happy to help since i was just tinkering with that in the Vipers.... but Crusader beat me to it by half a day, although i havent been on site til a few minutes ago as to the Egyptian missiles, look up the name of the Foriegn Military Sales contracts that it fell under (I think most anything Egyptian falls under Peace Pharoah, but not 100% sure for the Phantoms) then use your google fu to hunt down what else was in that contract. every focuses on the "24 Phantoms" or "48 F-16s". but in magazine, books and news clips its "$36 million worth of air to air missiles" anything over 10 years old should be able to be looked up (maybe even newer than that ). Look up Peace Pharoah I (just an example) and see what what contracted for. look at the national archives website, the stuff thats public knowledge (legally) should be accessable there that, once you line up deliveries with times, should tell you what was carried -

nowhere near as bad as a whole airfield, but was working on a skin yesterday, paused to make lunch right then we get hit with a power brownout, which happened to be enough to kill my desktop. guess what i forgot to do before going to make lunch?

i've read somewhere recently that the USAF is trailing that scheme on a Viper again. naturally, cant remember where i read it (been doing alot of online searching involving the phrase "F-16C" lately) mandatory screenie, or fun with stickers

i dont suppose anyone knows which serial was the SQUADRON king in 1998? nearly all the shots from 1998 are of the special with the Capitol on it, and i dont think it was the same bird (this one was different from the one in 1995...)
-
ok folks, i cant be the only one here flyin Vipers in SF2 i mean, unless someone is playin it in the White House, where else you gonna see these guys?
-
ok, so i'll quit clogging up the overall screenie thread with F-16s. over 4600 built. 43 years of service. over major 25 operators. there should be some variety here i'll start this show off mile high...

might want to cut it to the side. most folks using a toyota as a launch platform really are doing "shoot and scoot"

so a little in depth update. i didnt plan to do this one originaly. "it was covered" i said to myself . then my little "do everything" OCD bug kicked in..... 001 in the serial line up original skin 001 serial new skin this unit mark is tga Aircraft s/n 86-0233 original and new this one is on skin. the tga patch is a command bird one that covers. even tidied up the tail a little, although it needed the least work of any so far

i know youve eyeballed the gun truck before, dont know if youve seen this article on the one ran by our side https://taskandpurpose.com/news/army-paratroopers-toyota-technical-kabul-airport/ blue side. AVAILBILITY=VERY_RARE nice site btw. thats from about 3 mins of looking, but got a couple things i want to look at deeper (if i still have my Jane's discs handy)

ooooooh, pretty meanwhile, more of those college boys horsin around overhead.... or about to pass over the largest collection of two seat Vipers in the virtual or real world
-
less tweaks to the tail of this one. but more a little bit more detail than the original (names, AFOUA etc)
-
