  1. ok, wicked. see some of them taking off walking the dog, then come back in to see them in game... anywho.... i reject the previous skin and substitute my own
  2. i agree. in this case, even throw some on the windshield (with wiper marks of course )
  3. itsa wrap for tonight
  4. why cant we do no fly zone patrols over nice places, like the Gulf coast?
  5. researching can be draining. should take a trip to the Gulf... if anyone has better pics of the snake on the fuselage, i'd be appreciative. this one is a vector art that looked close to teh pics, then traced, chopped up and rearranged until it was close.
  6. took allen up on that info bout the Aggressor Block 30s. some work later (these are coming in after doing the single seaters in each skin after all)
  7. got enough LGBs? mandatory screenie, or not what i thought my boss meant when he said lets go hunting this weekend
  8. meanwhile, some fastass CAS for the mandatory screenie. right after they upgraded to Block 30s....
  9. theres been a few missing details from the Bats skin, especially if you want it from the early 90s and yeah, they mostly all had nosearts, but i can only find about half of them
  10. wicked optical illusion, the set of wheels closest to the viewer looks smaller than the set further
  11. not sure how your making your vortexes, but it would likely be better to make one or two multi part vortexes and add than 19 individuals. not saying one single one, but maybe 2-3 rather than 19 (or 38 if you go and total it up...) i look at it like decals: you can only put three really on a mesh. so if you have a lot that you want on via tga, you might need to make a bigger tga. (disregarding peoples disputes with me on just putting markings on skins) in the end its a blend of getting the most detail in within limited resources. it would be no fun if it wasnt a little challenging
  12. aw come on. any bumps or holes on this one could be chalked up to operational use. we know it would keep running seriously though, waiting to see how this one comes out
  13. its 924th FW. but it and the 301st are work in progress. likely eta in july. also, next time when quoting you can delete the pic and just do the words mandatory screenie, this time with the 457th FS 1997 next will have a spot the differences contest
  14. welcome! i sense a theme there... mandatory screenie, or "huh, they let them paint those on Herks?" 704th FS, 1994
  15. thanks. these guys are done yall. just 35 units more to go
  16. last Block 42 skin done. this heffer was a pain, even with 90% of the tail on skin... startin on block 30s
  17. barring a completely new model somewhere i dont think it will be coming anytime soon. not trying to speak for folks, but the ones with the max files for the Team Viper work are either not really active in SF2 anymore, or rather restricted on availability not to mention no modder of any discipline will make just one fix unless its in the intial version or very close when it was released. i mean hell, this was to bring one of HrntFixr's old skins to current SF2 standards. its since expanded to the whole 23d Wing, two wings in USAFE completed and 20 ANG squadrons in progress! again, not trying to speak for others. just saying i wouldnt hold breath on it.
  18. 2 June 1995, roughly 1500 local time Basher 52, part of a two ship engaging in a routine Operation Deny Flight patrol. CPT Scott O'Grady's flight lead had been targeted by an SA-6 earlier in the flight In a few minutes it will stop being a routine flight..
  19. enroute to Sicily DZ, circa 1994
  20. realized the Euro 1 camo was messed up (only took adding a sharks mouth to realize the colors were reversed) so had to go and fix it
  21. how bout a plain one with Brit style drive (passenger side driver), manual trans, and some gatorade, rip its and otis spunkmeyer muffin cases in the back? call it the DA version what, am i the only one here to have actually driven one in country? and for that matter whyd the Brits get the american style trucks and Americans get Brit style?
