SF2 Vietnam Expansion Pack Install help
daddyairplanes replied to daddario76's topic in General Discussion
Mean Kevin may bite your head off, but in 90% of cases it will be deserved try to search the answer to your questions (theres a vast knowledge base on SF2 modding and the Wings over series before that), and dont complain about download restrictions (theres a long story behind it, and its not about hiding mods behind a paywall) and you'll be good. so says Nice Kevin -

ohare had tankers stationed out of it for many years, going back to KC-97 days iirc plus you have alot of cargo running through there tactical birds in the Chicago area would more typically go to NAS Glenview until the mid 90s tho. especially when doing displays for the annual Air and Water show, they'd park at Glenview before doing the flight display over the lake. dont know how that goes since Glenview shut down damn, typing this make me realize i went to the last airshow at Glenview before it closed

thats interestng my wife likes watching air disaster videos (ticked about my hobby? ). i recall one of them about a Tu-154 crash stating something about Russian artificial horizons being opposite from western ones and this being a cause of the crash (french pilot iirc, got confused by instruments). also swear i recall reading that as being a reason for difficulty in converting Ukrainian pilots over, again difference in instruments but maybe i heard/remembered wrong

well, when youre at Pt Mugu, pretty much the rest of the fleet is an out lying picket meanwhile, Viper didnt need a Cat to shred MiGs. just a vector

appreciated, but the intent is to make videos with SF2 footage in them. either as coolage of screenshots or videos
-
for those too young to remember, MTV means Music Television the rules: a video, with music and either a colage of SF2 screenshots OR video recorded from missions a first effort of something i've wanted to do for a while now now we wait for someone to do a Danger Zone video

Crashing in SF2V Air Ground War expansion
daddyairplanes replied to Vittorio43's topic in General Discussion
a clean install means non modded each of those games and the 2 expansions have their own exe, and generates their own mod folder when played. so you can have specific installs. for example my SF2 install is mostly US based units and terrains, Europe has European based units, North Atlantic is a nautical themed install and so on. I keep my Israel install clean, only throwin things in when i am checking something. then i delete it all and leave it alone using a clean install, you can pinpoint issues better than if you have a million other mods in there -
Crashing in SF2V Air Ground War expansion
daddyairplanes replied to Vittorio43's topic in General Discussion
posting after skimming the topic, so bear with if i miss something you could try getting an Enterprise (theres a few in the internets, try YAP-RW models page) and running in a clean install in 1975 if that works, run single mission in your SF2V Expansion install if that works, edit the campaign to use the Enterprise you picked if your gonna do any modding for SF2, best to keep a clean install (exe) to check things in. clean it out everytime you are satisfied with what youre checking out of curiousty, how is your install? some games (like just SF2Europe and Vietnam), full 5 plus two (all five base games plus the two Thirdwire expansion packs) or the all in one (Thirdwire release from a couple of years ago that has everything TW released over the years for around 100 bucks)?
