Operation Desert Storm: 30th Anniversary Edition
daddyairplanes replied to Menrva's topic in File Announcements
can you be a little more specific? are you having trouble using them against any but the main target? or the AI isnt using them well. there are some game generic problems with LGBs, but it would help if you were a little more specific on your problem also, the Vipers didnt do any LGB work during ODS. there were barely enough AAQ-14 targeting pods for the Strike Eagles at the time, let alone the Block 40s. (that said, an interview with crews reveals that the Weasel Vipers were about to be fragged to carry LGBs when the Clark AB F-4Es showed up with their Pave Tacks, buddy lasing for other aircraft. the war ended before this came to pass). they could carry them from the get go (provided another aircraft or someone on the ground lased the target), they just werent used in Desert Storm- 257 replies

Late 1993: The 196th Reconaissance Squadron, California Air National Guard, becomes the 196th Air Refueling Squadron. The venerable RF-4Cs are traded in for even older (though refurbished) KC-135Es

you could try dropping these guys a line contact@spectre-association.org or as their FB description goes, " Non-Profit Organization celebrating the legacy of the Mighty Spectre Gunship (All Models) " i will admit though, it will be a coin flip. half of US veterans are happy to help, the other half will scream "TAHTS OPSEC!! YOU SHOULDNT BE ASKING TAHT!" the funniest one for the second case was when i asked for confirmation on Kansas ANG B-1 serials in '96. a time that was 25 years prior when i asked and for a type that unit hadnt flown in over 15 years. yeah, that brought out some crazies back to the Spectre Organization, their site is under construction and their FB page hasnt been posted on since April. but its still an avenue to check

Custom Skin Not Working In-Game Properly

i'd move that patch a little bit back and down so as not to cover the stencils that are part of the skin. also maybe drop scale to 0.65 0.55 meanwhile, welcome to the wonderful world of decals, where we get the best (and worst) of ini editing and digital artistry! -

Good Luck! its hit or miss reaching out to direct sources like that, but is awesome when it hits and you get alot more than just the one or two answers you were looking for (probably why i'm a member of multiple USAF unit FB pages despite being a retired Army cook )

this week, not only did i learn that the Nevada ANG got 3 jets from the Nebraska ANG as Nebraska was retiring their Phantoms , but that the High Rollers really didnt change the tail markings other than the High Roller logo. they kept these style numbers and the ANG logo with AFOUA (instead of "Nevada") al the way until AMARC in '95 -
have you gotten to see them overhead yet? i remember seeing the original Hornets during a couple of my multi day layovers in Kuwait.... mando screenie, or 64 troopers....
