  1. Sooner or later. They will serve no wine before it's time. Orson Wells understood the 2 week rule.
  2. I have a timer on my joystick I'll try that.
  3. Hi Redkite, welcome to OFFworld. With all my many hours I have never seen this, delibrate I mean. I doubt you will see it again. You may have been in the line of fire. These things happen in real life too.
  4. Good show! I loved the jump or fry bit. You had excellent control of the DVII and your shooting was spot on. I saw the covoy when you did and I just knew you were going to to give them what for. Good fun, thanks Simon.
  5. The idiot speaks. The global warming game is a political ploy to tell us how to live our lives. Thank God for global warming I say. It seems that according to scientific evidence the earth cycles through what is known as Ice Ages and just when does the next one start I wonder. The earth is not a static, fixed unchanging entity. I understand the warming process stopped in 2001 and has leveled off and even gotten cooler the last couple of years. I just saw the Global warming authority know as Algore speaking on the Tonight show about a new idea called geothermal heat and that it is a free resource and that the earth's core temperature is some million degrees. Interesting Al but I don't buy it. Oh and if you guys were wondering I'm the idiot. But you knew that. My condolences to all who suffer from unfavourable weather. It can seem a helpless situation and overwhelming. I hope you and your loved ones are safe.
  6. I'm sure there are many who are very happy with what they have. Fail may be too harsh of a term. To each their own and choice is always a good thing.
  7. Yes, they used it on us in our youth and then we turn around and use it on them in thier elder years. My mother in-law is like the 12 year old I never had at times. Bless her.

  9. Creaghorn, very interesting what you've done. You must be in an elite group. I find I need those visual clues even if they are a little exaggerated. It's a good thing for you that you are able to go in and adjust the program. I say more power to you. Enjoy.
  10. Thanks for the pics Pol. I like the brasswork details in the strut connections on the DH 5 and Petrol inscribed on the cap. Smallish details perhaps but for myself things like that add to my sense of sitting in the seat of a real airplane. Seems the textures are advanced from earlier planes as well. More weathering and texture you can almost feel. I also see the more irregular ruts in the airfields, like the turnaround marks at the end of the field, seems that is new detail. I applaud the whole team thanks again. Jim
  11. Very nice site Olham. I saved it to my Modelling favorites for the color reference data. Back when I was gainfully employed I had the inspiration to acquire models and decals and all sort of WWI modelling kit for my retirement years. Although I would rather not be retired right now it seems I have the time to work on a kit or two during the coming winter months.
  12. These seem like an excellent line of WWI kits. I would have them all if I could. Things being what they are I will need to content myself with my old kits. I just began work on an Aurora Albatros DIII from the mid 1960's. I have not settled on which particular crate it will be but I have removed the raised crosses and bits that make it appear as a toy. Other than that it will OOB with the addition of some decals I have picked up over the years.
  13. Work on the medals I think is being done by Paarma and Shredward and of course our modelers are Pol and Winder. So our team can walk and chewgum, hehe. My apopolgies if I misspeak.
  14. I seem to remember the devs. stating they knew of the award issues and are working on improving not only that but also the graphic representation. It may be a Phase 4 nicity?
  15. "them's fightin' words"
  16. Being a dog lover a appreciated seeing yours and the bit of Tull too.
  17. Damn good thing Lord Nelson lived when he did. Bless 'em. The U.S. is right behind you Widow, I'm afraid.
  18. That may well be, I did not see Sin City.
  19. Good for you Conrad. You'll be winning the war very soon. And just in time for the fantastic new add-on.
  20. I saved a career pilot when I had to do a reinstall.
  21. It's that damn unrequited love thing. Always but never.
  22. Awesome attention to details. Thanks Makai.
  23. Stiffy, what fun. Thanks for showing us your project. The jacket is coming nicely. Best wishes for getting all the bits and bobs you need/want to be happy with it.
  24. It all looks fabulous Widow. If I did not know better I might think we are looking at P4. I'm relieved to know the price now too, a bargain.
  25. Pol, I see the price. Did you want us to at this time? Oh Sorry it makes sense now, hehe. Guys be sure to view the screenshots. Most of them are new. The railyards are very much improved too.
