lol..acutally,,i have started one...only problem is,,,it almost seems that the enemy ai aircraft dont recognize them as "targets" per say,,,, They attack on the first pass,,but then just sorta fly around,,and dont seem to want to engage anymore... but next time there are 7 ppl on at once,,,will put it up to fly.

View File A Bridge Too Far.rar We have succeded in destroying almost all the heavy bridges, and slowed the enemy advance, but at a very heavy cost, but there is one more bridge large enough for the enemy to move equipment necessary for it to substain an offense. Amongst heavy debate, HeadQuarters has decided to take a gamble, and attempt an attack at this last bridge. Resouces are slim, but considering the stratigic importance of this target, we have pooled an impressive force. The bridge MUST be destroyed. Escort the bombers, and DO NOT leave them unattended Notes: The Bristols are considered "props" in this mission. They are there to give you something to Escort, and do have the function of bombing the bridge. I could not find a way to slow them down in mission builder, so to get them to fly in a manner that the escort fighters did not fall far behind, I gave the bombers "zig-zag" waypoints. The Bombers with an "*" next to them when you are selecting your planes in the mission are flyable, if you want to selct a bomber. To keep the size of the mission down, none of the axis planes are flyable. All of the Se5a's have cockpits, and are flyable. The ip list is available in the tuturial in the sticky section. Will modify wwi initilialising screen to include list of current pilots ips. Great for new pilots who dont have everyones ip yet.

This is what i got. Its the least obtrusive as you can get,,and see still a list. If you dont pm me, i will enter your ip. will not enter ips for anyone who has not been coming online lately. will put link to bmp in tuturial, so only ppl seeing it are those who need it the most (ie,,,new players).. Any of you new pilots that think you might be hosting in the future (and i hope thats all of you)...go to whatismyipaddress.com, and get your ip if you want me to add it to the list.

major installation problems

cfs3 does not do much if anything in the registry, so manually deleting all the folders will effect an uninstall you didnt say what os you had..but aside from the main folder (programfiles\microsoft games\cfs3,,,,there are folders in my documents\xxxxxxx\application data (appdat in vista)\microsoft that need to be removed to...(xxxxx can either be administrator, or your user name) there are alot of stickies out there on how to install...but basically its cfs3,,patch it to 3.1 if its not already a 3.1 version, and be sure to run it at least once before you put on bhah..... if bhah is still on the computer,,i would take that off too...there are off3 folders in that same directory as the cfs3 folders you had to find,,so get them also.... Be sure cfs3 is running fine before you install off...if cfs3 is screwed up,,,,its likely off will be screwed up too. -

it works fine, and the only reason its called a beta is cause i guess the guy just didnt want to commit his whole life to it..lol you can tell it what, and what not to display,,,the options are your name when you talk,,,ppls names when they talk,,,fps (very handy), and i belive time. you can tell it font,,and where on the screen to display the info..... not sure why gb could not get it working... i just always seem to forget to start mine up when i get into a game....

Ok,,kinda understand what you are saying, but what i was trying to avoid was having to redo the whole thing if a new player joined, and we wanted to add the ip. Which is why i went to the notepad...save as text..convert to bmp, proceedure, and just pasted the bmp into the splash screen. and, you probably know this better than me,,,,but you definatly cannot have a transparent layer in a bmp,,found that out...so can you paste a gif file onto a bmp and save it?? in all my attempts,,,it sorta worked,,but the text got incredibly fuzzy. went back and looked at the splash screen i put up in the forum, and to be honest,,it doenst look that bad to me,,,its easy,,and lol....its just a splash screen, its only up as long as it takes you to add the ip... but if you can come up with something better looking,,,id would love to see it. just think its important to make it easy to add/update the numbers and names

I only thru all this out as a suggestion..if ppl want a list of ppls ips handy when they go join,,its possible and easy,,,now making it look good (if making that splash screen look good is really that important) is another step. And if ppl dont want the list,,they dont have to use it...pretty simple.... Van baur, if you have the time, and want to fool with it be my guest. I can send you the utilty i use to convert a text to bmp if you dont have one. i got jasc,,,and tried,,,with terrible results...think part of the problem is that you can make a gif transparent, but not sure if you can make a bmp transparent. One thing i did do is start in word, and make a table, and made my entries there,,that way you can sort the name colums. And while i did say if ppl dont want theri ips posted, they certainly have that right, kinda find it hard to understand why anyone would try and protect something they toss out so freely in mp games... so personnaly,,dont see the need to hide this list from anyone.... i mean damn,,if a new player comes on line,,,we're not going to give him the ip cause we dont know them?

you dont have to tell me this looks lousy,,,,i dont have psp here anymore, so cant make the background transparent,,,but you wouldnt have to remeber the ips,,they would be there as you had to type them in
