  1. Heard about this last night, very sad news. RIP.
  2. Thanks very much guys, managed to get treated to going to the Airbourne airshow yesterday had a great blast watching it from on top of a nearby hill, bit strange watching a lot of the aircraft fly by below you.

Hey Craig did you display at Airbourne?
  5. One of the limiting factors currently in UMC2 is that all of the imported LOD meshes appear faceted, taking away from the true appearance of them in game.
  6. Thank you very much guys, now the real hard work begins
  7. Many happy returns guys!
  8. W00t for C5!

    Mr. T. II

The protest probably didn't come from any sort of gay view point, rather from the abundance of arseholes in this country that like to whine and bitch just for the sake of it. It would be a dream come true if Snickers sent a formal letter to them quite simply saying "Shut up and get some nuts. Hmph!"
  10. You could infact do it by having a very simple mesh built in 3d max as the pilot model, something like a cube, map it to a tga, make that tga entirely transparent et voila, you have a pilot model that you don't have to worry about getting in the way.
  11. Well, in relation to what What!, Say has said, if you want the canards to stay on your new variant of the Su-27 when they are static aircraft put on the ramps by the game engine, if you have them set as a seat model in the aircraft data.ini, they should show up, as opposed to have them as the pilot model. Just throwing ideas around here though.
  12. What about having them as an extra seat and an invisible lod as an extra pilot?
  13. Looked for a high rez version couldn't find it, did find it for sale here though C5... http://www.happyhobby.com/hobb_html/microscale_decal_+.htm
  14. If you saw something interesting today post away. Today I went to Bournemouth beach for the day, got a bonus of a Red Arrows display and close fly-by, also saw a SAR SeaKing from RNAS Culdrose go very low over my head along the coastline. Lastly got treated to a Hawker Hunter doing a nice fast flyby along the beach and then coming back in opposite direction a few minutes later. What you got?
  15. Sounds like a fun ride The A-4N was a modified A-4M that was exported to Israel though wasn't it?
  16. Screw the bee, they are pussies of the winged, stinging world. Get yourself an Asian giant hornet. Clicky
  17. I can't help you where it is SayWhat, but try using the panelfinder tool... http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/forums/dow...panelfinder-40/
  18. Well it's got to be true then
  19. I can't stop playing CoD4
  20. What you are seeing is decal bleed. Also a little tip, convert your pictures to a jpeg format, they take up a lot less bandwidth and thus loading times.
  21. Is this it... http://img122.imageshack.us/img122/8128/f35ejpeg4sf.jpg

    Got iPhone?

True say, after all, that is why it's called a phone. To do all the other stuff (listen to music, take pictures, video, internet etc), I would anyway get something that's dedicated to each task. Some of these gadgets strike me as a jack of all trades and master of none.
  23. There is in the UK what is known as the Joint Harrier Force, a conglomeration of RAF Harriers and the RN SeaHarriers. Since RN SeaHarriers have since been removed from service, some of the RAF Harrier GR.7/9's have been operated by the Naval Strike Wing, most recently in Afghanistan. It is not the most ideal situation but it is the current solution. There is a good article about it here... http://navy-matters.beedall.com/harrier-gr9.htm However, I feel that Skippybing would probably be able to give a very good analysis of the current situation.
  24. Looks like some sort on scaling issue derived from the original model in max, may be something wrong with the animation controllers.
  25. Mwah ha ha. Serious cat, I are. Serious thread, this is.
