  1. Due to the way that the .lod files are designed to be created, unfortunately they cannot be converted to another format once they have been made.
  2. If you see the insignia on the fuselage on the second pic, you can see it's a Norweigan bird.
  3. I never usually use the templates released from TW for making new skins, rather make new high rez templates instead using them as a base. Panel lines and rivets are fairly easy to draw, especially when you already have some drawn out. There's some different ways to do that, I find that the path tool tends to be a good one.
  4. I once encountered Chuck Norris in an online game of Call of Duty 4, and even got lucky enough to pop a cap in his ass.... However as always, no man escapes Chuck Norris, really, no one. It says he killed me with a G36, not true, he did in fact round house me, and just after this screenie, I got a CTD due to the sheer power it hit me with. The moral of this story? Don't f*ck with Chuck. (even a virtual version)
  5. Good to see a fellow airbase builder round here.
  6. Where are you at in Bucks Coolhand, we have it at around £1.10 here in Slough at the moment.
  7. A...big... fish?
  8. I've had this problem too a few times, DX is up to date, plenty of ram, graphics capapbility etc. Still haven't found a proper solution to the problem. Also, do you have any other TW sims installed? For me, when one sticks on the pre-mainscreen blackness, they all do. Usually when it happens, i bring up task manager, and end the peocess to get out of it. The weird thing is, there never seems to be an obvious reason for why it happens, no major graphics settings changes are made or anything.

    Sour !

Nicky, have you tried sour skittles at all? All those bloody E numbers, ah well, what doesn't kill you....
  10. This has happened to me a couple of times, usually it solves itself by saving, closing, and then re-opening the file.
  11. Very nice Marc! New heavies are always a good thing
  12. I am going with Ed on this one, I once had a Dorado in a beach restaurant on the south coast of Portugal, it tasted simply, just... amazing. Another one I like is seabass cooked in a salt crust with bay leaf and garlic.
  13. How's the magister coming along? So far, this looks like a great bird.
  14. Sounds good, a well annotated campaign will be a great feature.
  15. Very nice mate, keep it going
  16. Yep, that is the Cutlass model, originally done by someone called J P Demmerle, which Marcello ported over to SF I believe. There are a couple of threads about it over at SHQ. However, since Marcello is quite active here, I imagine you'd be able to talk to him about it quite easily. Looking good so far though Wrench EDIT: P.S. Wrench, here's a thread over at C5's site about it... Cutlass thread
  17. Looking good Marc!
  18. Chuck Norris can travel faster than the speed of light, in fact once, he round-house kicked those photons back to where they belong, a lowly 3x10^8 ms^-1.
  19. Tell him it's not a good idea to take Wikipedia's word for granted, it's not a primary source of information, as it can be edited by anyone. Like Coolhand has done, give him reputable sources like F-16.net or Joe Baugher's site, and he won't have a leg to stand on.
  20. Sticks and stones....
  21. You don't have to splash out money in order to get a half decent image editting program. Google "the gimp". It is a free program that can do a lot of the work that ones such as photoshop or paint shop pro can also do.
  22. If you wish to modify the colour of the names of the noseart, that will have to be done in photoshop, paint shop pro etc. A simple colour overlay will do the trick.
  23. ZH588 has just been delivered to the RAF Museum at Hendon in the last few weeks, currently under restoration to be put on display.
  24. The thing with edited screenshots is how far people are going to go with them. I mean stuff like the great work Decues creates can be highly altered and in cases look quite different to what would be possible within the native realms of the sim. Perhaps edited and non-edited categories could be used if there is enough demand?
