  1. I wouldn't know what the cause of your problem is, I'm no weapons expert, but I know that the Nike missiles work properly along the same lines as the system you have there. Maybe a comparison might show a few differences?
  2. How's about this for some A-7 love? http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=20616
  3. Looking good Fastcargo If at any point you decide to build a Bloodhound, let me know, I made a walkaround of one a while ago.
  4. Certainly is, check the bottom of page 2.
  5. Ditto, no problems at all.
  6. And some crazy-arse skins to boot
  7. If you press Ctrl and F12 I think that may give you what you're looking for.
  8. Sony's absolutely right, there's a huge amount of F-16 variants, with some being told apart only by the small details. Now then, train your eyes to see if you can tell which viper this one is...
  9. This is getting a bit silly...
  10. Sounds like a barrel of laughs on a saturday afternoon
  11. Photobucket rules man, you get a whole gig of image and movie space totally free, easily organisable and maximum image size is 1Mb. Can't go wrong mate.
  12. 13. Bloody hell mate! Those skins do look rather tasty. (See you got your placards sorted )
  14. Make sure you use work paths, and then stroke them with your paint brushes. It's good to have two separate work paths, one for lines and then rivets. Makes it a lot easier to work with.
  15. Czech6, unfortunately you are correct, it's not possible to chnage the nature of the forced animation without being able to reset its rotate position in max. I tried this quite a whlie ago and came across the same problem. Shame there's no animation for it.
  16. Fubar, did you somehow manage to comine the non-animated canopy with a manual deployment method?

    skinning mods

First two things to get you started will be a) a skinning program and b) some skinning tutorials. For a skinning program, if you're prepared to shell out some money, Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro are worthy investments. If not however, its not a problem, simply google "The Gimp," which is a totally free image editting program that has nearly all the features of the afore-mentioned programs. For some skinning tutorials to teach and show you a lot of whats needed to be done to skin, head on over to http://www.simmerspaintshop.com, where they have everything for your starting needs in the world of skinning. Have fun
  18. Your line of work sounds good mate, on the idea of the the animation not working properly, I wouldn't know if it would help, but the Penguin missile has a fin animation after deployment. Perhaps it could serve as a model for you to try and get it working correctly.
  19. Wow! looks great matey
  20. I'm currently doing a Concorde and a Harrier GR.7
  21. That's what I meant mate The laser designator you see on the Eurofighter in this pic is called the PIRATE (Passive InfraRed Airborne Tracking Equipment)... http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1245958/L/
  22. Hey craig are you thinking of doing a Pirate?
  23. Many happy returns buddy!
  24. It is yep, its in service with the United Arab Emirates Air Force.
  25. When you see the .dll files named as the menu screens, they are not the actual screens you see in game, but instead is the coding behind them that allows all of the available functions to work. For example, when you use the drop down menus, that's made possible by the .dll files. To get to the bitmap paint files of the menu screens, you will have to download and install Skypat's Cat Extractor tool and extract the appropriate bitmap files from the MenuData.CAT file. When you're done editting the menu screen bitmaps, just place them in the Menu folder.
