Looks like my laptop will arrive tomorrow rather then today. The good news is that I didn't have much in the way of updates for Sunday. Since I backed up things I just need the laptop to start back to work

My projects (GKABS)

I always thought it had nice lines -
Finally watched it, nice work

I managed to recover a similar model, so I'm able to reconstruct the Blackhawk and maybe keep it to one or two models instead. We'll see though, as I know what messed up the models before

Due to some issues with the vanilla Blackhawks, I've decided to remove them from the Helicopter Pack. I don't think they're used that much, only in missions, but I can't seem to fix the problem, and I need it to go away. So this Sunday there will no longer be missions or anything related to the stuff. I'm sure the most used helicopters are the SOAR birds anyway, and people used to complain about filesize. Well after that aftermath I do have the A2 repository, which I of course got the files from and such. Right now I can remake them in the future, as I'm expecting people to rightfully complain, but the issues I was going through forced my hand. All in all the issue was confined to the UH-60s and none other helicopters, after a good check. So in the future I can redo them if necessary. I backed up the missions too, as I deleted them from the Workshop for now. And they can be brought back if needed.

I switched to After Sunset after using the other one. I just like how it settles and so on, and thankful that you made these, my eyes thank you Erik.

And now I fixed an issue with the UH-92s, the Geometry LOD was low, and so I couldnt lift 6,000 kg, which is the default setting. Now next Sunday: - Flanker562 Helicopter Pack - Flanker562 Weapons Pack

Okay it's cold and I'm inside. So I did some suppressors (the SureFire ones though) in Sand and Khaki (BIS's interpretation) just like the stock ones. I also tweaked some values for Inertia for them, and also adding the capability to mount my IR Laser/Flashlights on stock weapons. I had that capability before, but I lost track and sighrt of it, so that's fixed and works now. I did some tweaking of the ASDG system for the accessories, so now things should be more better and such.
-
Went ahead and made the weapons that uses suppressors and the like, compatible with ASDG barrels. I know back in the past a lot of people were against it, but if I'm creating a lot of suppressors and stuff, then I need to work with something that doesn't make me do a lot of copying and pasting, and that's one reason I switched to it. These days when you run multiple mods, sometimes you want to use X suppressor instead of one of mine, and that's fine. But now it gives you more options if you don't like what I'm putting out, and so on. So already for next Sunday: - Flanker562 Weapons Pack

Decided to do some Ssnd textures for the SureFire suppressors, currently the 556 ones. I need to do the 762 ones, but that's what I got going on now. WIth the updated and fixed Helicopter Pack I think I'll chill unless something happens. It's cold out so no need to be outside getting cold. I plan on doing Khaki textures for the Khaki weapons too

NOTE: This release is due to the weather, so you'll be able to enjoy the mod if your internet is working and have power. Just making sure you got something to do this weekend if you get snowed in. Updates will return to normal Sunday routine.

Flanker562 Helicopter Pack RC181 - Fixed MFDs on MH-92. Was testing something and apparently doesn't work as I needed it to. - Formation Lights work now, as intended. They work only at night, with the engine on though, and I managed to get them working using a BIS RVMAT. - Quashed an error with the AH-96 - Cleaned up a variety of models that needed to be updated with the glass damage system. - Made numerous fixes to the helicopters, enhancing gameplay and making sure that they're fixed so they're good with players. - Changed out the Surefire MX Suppressor for a new Sand version for the TF562 units. I'm not intending on making it a weapons pack, but I will keep the Tan version for those who like it. Flanker562 Weapons Pack RC128 - Removed the custom EBR, due to the fact that I can place those mags in the Magazine Wells system for the Mk18 instead - Removed the Black and Multicam EBR. - Removed some unused files related to when it hosted the Taliban Fighters mod, hopefully making it somewhat smaller (not much really) in file size. - Added a Sand version of the Surefire MX Suppressor. - Added a Khaki version of the Surefire MX Suppressor. - The M3LR/PVS22 MRT combo should be fixed, after so long. AH-1Z RC26 - Added limited damage effects with the glass. - Cleaned up model, removed some unused named selections and general model cleanup
-
Managed to rework the Ah-1Z and update it. The Formation Lights on it are newly coded (with the help of Apollo) and updated, so they work only when the engine is on, and at night. So this Sunday: - Flanker562 Helicopter Pack - Flanker562 Weapons Pack - AH-1Z

WIP Mega THREAD!
Flanker562 replied to ErikGen's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
It does look kinda cool though, I have to say. -

Here are a couple of WIP shots. One is the new Sand MX Suppressor from SureFire, and then the look on the MH-92s when the Refuelling Probe is hidden per user desire. I thought it would look like a "cap" for the end, so it has some realistic look, and doesn't interfere with vision that much. I've done some sling load practice and it's not much of an issue with it.

Yeah one of the admins was talking about the lowering user base, and so on, so I think that they're as said, losing to Discord and so on, or other forums. The Arma series area is dead except for my posting, and nobody comments other than me, but I also don't use SimHQ for anything but to post updates for my mods. I think if they updated the site and produced more content, maybe they could get more people. I'm on Mudspike and it doesn't seem like a lot of people either, but that's how it goes I guess. So far CA has attracted some people (Erik could obviously tell you the stats and such, and so on) of this site, but I think that we're fine with the user base so far.

Okay I'm pretty much done to my satisfaction with the glass damage system. I had to really work on the Ka-145 and AH-96, had some teething issues with the models and config, but that's pretty much done. I don't think I have to look over the model.cfg since that was setup, so things are going to look good for Sunday. I need to do some of the other helis, but a check of the Kiowa, and maybe need to stay off of that one, though I'd like to do some of the other helos, like the AH-1Z shouldn't be too much of an issue, but I can do that later.
