  1. usafmtl:: I try religiously. I'm a bicycle nut and I always ride BOSS cruiser with big fat tires so I ride off road when traffic is heavy, and I always keep an eye behind me on what's coming up. That's why I will never ride those skinny fast street tires. When I drive I always expect a motorcycle to be behind the canopy framing (lack of better word) when I change lanes so I bobbing my head looking for a bike in the lane next to me. I plan on another truck, older F-150. Long ago I got rammed from behind at red light coming back from school -- some guys at my school (community college). After the E-Team left (one guy was hurting a little but was deemed okay) the cop writes a report and puts about 2000$ damage on the guy's car, looks at my rear bumper and starts laughing. Alot of scratches and small dents from work so I told him to put Zero down. If I recall he had to put "something" so he put like 100$ damage (I didn't claim it). We are all fine and typically I let the other guys drive off first which was a smart move because I got good view of what happened next. As we pick up speed, the damaged car in front, the airflow gets into the gash in the grill under the crumpled hood of the guy's car and the hood flies up and over onto their windshield. They stop and I stop to see if they are okay but their windshield is crushed now. What 3000+$ damage now lol. They should have played Strike Fighters the night before, but this was 1990s so they couldn't do that. Trucks and Bikes are good. Anything in between WretchFest Maximus.
  2. There are one or two exceptions to Remakes. Teh Flintstones movie was one, and the Popeye movie with Robin Williams is still on of my faves. Oh. Duh I guess you are right. Yea no wonder that article didn't mention any Newbie Mr. T. lol. Never saw the show, but it looks like it was kinda fun. This New Movie looks sincere, serious, even severe, but I don't have sound on my computer. I never watch TV except, about 8 years back, some Canadian and NZ sci-fi. I met an actor a few years back and kids, helped her with something and she told me her name and I said "hey I'm phil and nice to meet you bye" so she had to explain who she was. That was the first time playing Strike Fighters the night before didn't help.
  3. Server in case you "forgot" you got a new car. Pretty cool. I'm wanna a early 1990s F-150/250. Granted 1968 F-100 is the finest vehicle ever made though but I don't have a place now to work on one like it should be done.
  4. Thanks macelena I figured there was a rare exception or two.
  5. Fuel efficient... How about high altitude, like replacement for original F-101A, before F-110 arrives. AIM-9B works miracles up high.
  6. For more info, follow the link at that page. At the end.... There is a new twist not mentioned however. Do we measure the popularity of Mr. T by using the Classical Mr. T or Newbie Mr. T? I'm going to guess that we should look at Classical Mr. T. If the New Movie inspires people enough so we see Classical Mr. T in the media, gold has reached at least a local peak and will soon drop. If not, no matter how popular Newbie Mr. T may be, gold will continue higher. Gotta have faith in Classical Mr. T I suppose.
  7. Have you seen this? If not, you have now. Mr. T gold indicator ~> http://money.ca.msn.com/investing/gallery.aspx?cp-documentid=23423037&page=6 The "Previous" 5 pages have good ones, hemline indicator, Time magazine indicator, etc...
  8. Yea they are good bug exterminators. Can't do ants though. But one or two certain spiders you get rid of, and their egg...SAC lol.
  9. Watch better them cottenheads, er coppermouths Better watch them cottenheads and coppermouths too.
  10. Somebody probably did it earlier, but when I first got TEH SF in early 2005 the first thing I did was examine in detail TK's Enviro. I noticed cockpit lights didn't turn on until almost total dark outside. There was a period of time where it was too dark to read guages, yet not dark enough outside where the auto-lights turn on.
  11. Dam. Why do these .govs pack everybody on one airplane? If I recall, Stalin was paranoid afraid to fly. So am I lol. I don't remember if they got him to fly, they tried but he was clever at avoiding it. Don't remember.
  12. Thanks Viper that was great to see. Server I apologize I just love the youtube alot. Some crapp I see on it I don't but sometimes it sux to be me. I'm embarassed the way Wikileak handled this vid. Best thing is to make better spin. This thread did. Thanks to all the serial moderators for keeping it open.
  13. Jug:: Wow Jug I saved that for U-2 load image. Me I use blank nothing. I found pics slow me down a little, and a little distracting. I used to be normal though. The neatest I had was once after I got TEH FB I found a low quality pic of Spanish I-15 with a huck dog starter truck hooking up to it. It was a sunset/sunrise pic alot like Jug's, some fuzzy shiny cloud layers in the background against the twilight sky. Poor quality but I-15 with truck made up for that.
  14. lol Server that diplomat-dude in the airplane bathroom saying he was lighting up his shoe was joking too. Youtube can do a good job at exposing a potential emergence of a corrupt police state. Just before the USSR collapse, there was a peaceful demonstration in Tbsili and they didn't turn violent so Soviet troops had to beatem with shovels -- primitive Soviet version of non-lethal weapons hehe. I figure this was USSR on deathbed and news was getting out or they would have shotem. I suppose they were doing their job for the commie cowards in power. The shovels made dam fine tactics but in the end, Mission Fail. USSR Fail. Even armed and armoured illegitimacy fails in the end by its own corruption. Everybody needs to look up Youtube and The Station fire video (Great White) and learn and live from that video. Dense crowds -- small can be dense -- always made me nervous but I'm like that. But it kinda depends. I avoid Disney since it is...well, hehe Disney. I goto movies, and I used to get friends to sit in front row, and they whine something about "sitting in space shuttle at launch." I love being right in front of the screen. Now I sit in back row near entrance. You never *know* if front emergency EXIT doors are locked which happens with sloppy owners and managers.
  15. Yea not much info to go on there. Both sides of the pond could tighten up requirements a bit.
  16. I've wondered about that, thinking of the possibility of making isolated towering cumulus clouds out of 3d polygons, like the Sims Of Old, the Sims of Renown, say, DOS Su-27 FLAKER 1.0 from 1995. Since then all The Sims have gone to (rotating lol) "fluffy" cloud "textures" that don't exist as objects in game. A 3d cloud lod, set to float like a balloon, would interact with the SF sun and be illuminated on poly faces toward the SF sun, and shaded on faces away from the SF sun. Give it a big one polygon flat bottom. Skinning would be interesting. Something like these ~> http://www.chitambo.com/clouds/cloudshtml/towering.html What is CFS4?
  17. That's sad or we are missing some story. Here's the weird part... Something is missing -- either from the story which is standard for zero quality quicky news like this, or a father/husband is missing which means there is no full "family" to begin with.
  18. lol server good one very true. Folks, keep your shoes on the ground.
  19. Server:: Stay the course. Some things I like on Youtube, some things I don't, including the Wikileak dramatizing this video. People are gullible, but if teh Youtube is bad then ALL media is equally as bad. Maybe the Pentagon should have releaced this vid themselves with their own spin. But they let somebody else do it first with their own spin. If I liked or agreed with everything on Youtube, I'd do as well reading Pravda in ye olde USSR. One thing I saw that stood out for me was a Canadian vid of a "protester" agitating other protesters to start violence. The peaceful protesters shouted this guy down and he retreats behind the police line. It was supposed that this guy was a plant to incite violence so the police could make their move. I Dunno but the police made way for him to retreat behind them. The Soviet Union would have called this a "bad" video. So would Canada.gov I suppose lol.
  20. Stick:: Watch it all. The soldier running carrying the child from the van shows the contradictions seen in war. At least when we mess up, we try to patch things up best we can. What you see in the video are the best fighting people in the world. We only see a video on our gaming computers. I recall I think a CNN team in Iraq got shot when they raised a camera -- It looked like a rocket launcher. Something like that. Good info keep it coming. This "war" is confusing, this video shows its not "clean" like say retaking the Aleutians from the Japs, and this war doesn't seem to go on forever. It is going on forever, while everything back home falls apart except bailed out giant wall street banks and booming weapons manufacturing -- the Munitions Bubble hehe. I don't fault Wikileak so much as Pentagon for not releacing this long ago. What they try to tell us? "If you have nothing to hide...: -- well that works both ways. Be first to the media and admit mistakes. If you don't, you run the risk of somebody else doing it for you. Serverforcer: What would the Soviet Union think of Youtube? USSR would have hated it, unless they totally controlled it. So by definition an uncontrolled Youtube is good for freedom, sovereignty, and liberty.
  21. Hard drive loss. Its all about the hard drive. Which reminds us to make multiple independent backups and store them in more than one place. Theft or Fire can cause hard drive loss, including backups. If you live near a Georgia Swamp where that B-47 and F86 collided (both pilots from Mississippie ), keep your backups well out of state -- if you Believe, as there is some debate over the B-47 being armed. Might want to keep backups of yourself out of state, at least after they turn 16 - 18.
  22. I don't remember if anybody got this working in SF2. I don't have SF2 so I can't help. It should be workable, as lots of old stuff has been tweaked for 2.
  23. It fits well. I'm planning for my Siberian Sky campaign to use F-107 as recon if RF-101s take too heavy losses, and if there are not enough F-105s to go around. It worked for RF-101A ~> http://www.spyflight.co.uk/f100.htm with hacked on extra drop tanks until U-2 was ready. The F-107 has intake moved above cockpit to not interfere with weapon releace, then the thing is used purely for unarmed recon. It sounds "typical" enough they'd do something like that in a pinch.
  24. Yeap fellas. Never "upgrade" one Windows to another. Always do clean install.
