  4. I'm gonna ask a n00b question since I've never made any campaigns before. I've flicked though Bunyap's tute site and it's all pretty straight forward but I'm having an issue. I've setup my new side (Royal Oz Navy), am able to select the side and begin the campaign as normal. Like so... However, once in, I have a problem. That's no G-type Scooter.   5. Static aircraft won't spawn during campaign missions?? I thought there might be something weird with that. I got them working after the patch (in Single Mission) but I've been making a WOV campaign in the last few days and during testing I noticed no static aircraft were showing up. I thought maybe I mistook patching my WOV for WOE and needed to apply the patch to both, but I already have... Hmmm.
  6. B-36 from A-Team dude. Only got released in the last couple of days. I thought I noticed the reports from the turrets above and out by the outer parts of the main wing. Only problem is that I can't seem to get close enough to any fast movers again to see if it was just me or if the muzzles were displaced.
  7. Yeah? My info says the P-3Cs are about 200kph (aprox. 105kts) slower... After having seen 10 and 11 Sqn flying around my state for years, you wouldn't notice the difference!

  14. This has already been brought up a couple of times, I'll find the link and post it shortly, but in the meantime have you tried opening up the weaponsdata.ini with the WOI weaps editor and saving it to update the weaponsdata.ini?

  16. Apparently, if downloaded anywhere but North America, South Africa, Oz or NZ you get the error message "ErrorCode = PI, 30022". Which is interesting since the game is produced in South Korea.
  17. She's gonna be sh*tting bricks about this when she gets back! A buddy of mine were going to attempt to make a modernised Skyraider in our dwindling free time. I think this would be a good design to emulate, sans the wingtip tanks... and maybe an 8 blade prop.

  24. Everyone's taking the F-13=Mig-21 to heart a bit. I was just taking the p*ss. I think they meant F-16 and it was a keypad typo. Still, stealth or not, I think comparing F-35s to Su-30s is a bit of a waste of time as their operational profiles (along with their systems, ordinance, pilot training, etc) is going to have a large bearing on how they are going to fare against each other. I mean, lightweight aircraft and heavy aircraft are going to be able to perform similar roles, but the way they're applied is going to be quite different (especially with the RAAF's penchant for low level, scattered penetration). The F-35s will do the job nicely and the SuperBugs will be able to provide an effective top cover against the Sukhois, if ever they met (I've got more of a chance of hooking up with Tina Fey!). F-15Es would do it better for around the same cost, but here we are. I'd say this "are the F-35s worthy" debate here is akin to asking what's 'best' between the F-4 Phantom and the A-4 Skyhawk. Both are good at what they do, they just do it differently. We simply don't need the F-22, even if the US would sell it to us. It's just fear mongering by the uninformed. Unfortunately, that includes the Senate as well.
