  2. Not sure without DLing it myself but would have thought so - at a guess it may need the Desert_Airfield ini files that were in the original Desert terrain (anyone know?) Are there any ini files in the korea terrain folder called something like Korea_airfield1.ini, Korea_airfield2.ini?
  3. Here and other forums over the past 2 years or so - no idea on the status - or even if it will ever be released now
  4. lol - cheers Nicky have just mailed that 2nd bit to my boss (shes so hot )
  5. Pre 1980: 1. F-4 Phantom - well known throughout the world and loads of variants, multirole, and carries loads of weps (+ Carrier ops) 2. Mirage - as above - but not as good weps loadout 3. Mig-21 - as above - but not as good weps loadout My Outsider would be the F-5 (Multirole F-18/16 predessesor )
  6. RussoUK was doing the bucc - have seen loads of shots of it.
  7. Would be interested after April when I have more time - also depends on the time zone thing though
  8. Loved Iron Eagle 2 when I was a kid - Makes me cringe now It taught me how good russian pilots actually were. If you remember the great Doug Masters who single handedly wiped out the entire Iraqi (or whatever) Air Force in their advanced Kfirs (captured from Israel) as a 16 year old - yet after a few years of proper training was shot down in a few minutes by some russian in an F-4E - they must be some pilots!
  9. BAT 21 was ace! "The Blue Max" - is such a great film - has George Peppard who plays an evil WW1 fighter Ace - tru classic IMO
  10. Was called "Wings of the Apache" in the UK - If you mean the one with Sean Young and Nicholas Cage in it.
  11. Independance day anyone - F-18s galore
  12. Anyone mentioned True Lies yet - so so film - but love the Harrier sequence when they take out those bridges!!
  13. Well I guess it will work in SFP1/SFG/WOE/WOV
  14. What! You havnt seen Hondas Asimo: Seriously dont think I will seeing anything like I Robot in my time tbh
  15. Tactical Assault lol http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0127917/
  16. Cant believe they let it fly low over the actual carrier - no point in intercepting it if thats true
  17. That will be the F-16A Block 20 then: http://www.f-16.net/gallery_item44716.html Can do a basic skin like the above if there isnt one about already - It would go on the Mirage Factory Block 15 OCU model.
  18. Lol - some cool Pics there too!
  19. Buy a pair
  20. RIP - that guy made Jaws!
  21. Hopefully 1960/70s avionics, weapons and tactics - which would make it different (i think) but maybe again not popular. Trouble with Study sims is the time to learn and actually play the darn things - never had the patience or time to play them properly when I was younger myself - and we are talkin Falcon 1 which wasnt much different to SF in many ways detail wise (press E to switch the engine on/off) - so the main market would surely be 22+ ? I havnt played Lockon myself yet - but was assuming its mainly Modern warfare related? 5000 would be some target - though 500 paying $500 (£250) as a development investment - and a possible share of profits - (if there were any ) I would probably put that up - though would like to know who these trustworthy people are C5 keeps harking on about.
  22. For any Battle Of Britain fans it may be worth getting a Series called "Piece Of Cake" (also based on a book )which i managed to get on DVD. Covers the battle of France leading up to the turning point of the BoB. There are tons of flying sequences and Spitfire shots in it and its a great drama - if not fully exact to life in the RAF at that time (apparently).
  23. Thats another DVD I had to get - remember it from being on TV when I was a kid!
  24. Anyone seen "By Dawns Early Light" - bit of a TV movie but has some stars in it and considering the budget they were on is amazing! Its based on a book about a terrorist cell firing an ICBM at Russia - and WW3 breaking out - but theres a great sub plot with a B-52 crew!
  25. lol "Looks like I picked the wrong week to give up amphetamines" I think I take after Ted Striker in some ways - certainly leading my flight over "Macho Grande" (or whatever) happens all too often in WOV Dont have his drinking problem though
