CA-Stary - you truly are a king amoungst men - I would have paid for that mod! In fact with the trees the high res looks much better than the payware terrains - the tile edges arnt so obvious either. The only issue I could think of for people installing this into a YAP install is that some targets and objects may have trees growing out of them now.

When Is The Last Time You Backed Up Your Stuff?
MigBuster replied to Dave's topic in General Discussion
The amount of time I spend getting the installs to how I want them its goota be backed up. I just copy the entire game folder for each install to DVDs. -
U2 have done some classics IMO - Desire,Mysterious Ways and Sunday Bloody Sunday (ignoring the context behind the song obviously) are faves The Edge was one of thoese 80s guitarists who could make the simplest guitar riffs sound amazing!

No high definition mods from me - just a lot of man hours - so Just a credit is fine. My mods should be free only.

Erm - if you havnt already done this - take out the mains lead for aboout 30 seconds - then plug it back in (lost count the amount of times thats got powerless PCs up again) - also check the fuse in the actual mains lead if you can.

MigBuster replied to hotrodss's topic in Mission/Campaign Building Discussion

Interesting... "Well, many things you do can affect the campaign. All the static aircraft (fighter and bomber types) are drawn from the campaign squadron, so destroying them would directly reduce the number of aircraft they have available. Similarily, destroying tanks affects the ground units strength. Transport aircraft (both on the ground and in th air) "carry" virtual supply, so their destruction reduce the resupply the unit is set to receive. There are other indirect effects, destroying hangars may also reduce the number of aircraft they have available in the future, and destroying warehouse and fuel tanks also affect their supply status. But these effects are more indirect, and may not be noticable from mission to mission." TK

Open it up in a photo/paint editing program - if you dont have one then you can get G.I.M.P. for free. Open up the pic in this program - then just resize it and save it as a JPEG (.jpg) You then need to upload it to a hosting website like photobucket.com and you just stick a link to it here (with img tags too if you like)

Depends if MIA always means captured - or dead in a river after bailing out

A Few Questions, and some discoveries as well.

Hi - Your English is fine - welcome For the tgas - did you actually open them up to see if they had a yellow background? For no2 - Years ago I remember having to rename sfg.exe to sfp1.exe so that hyperlobby would work - other than exes really should be left alone if poss IMO -
I used to use that but not any more - but its best to find out the distance of the Migs first if you can from AWACs - under 20 miles in 2010 I would consider not turning around incase they had R-77s. Under 5 miles then run to your nearest F-22 / F-15 flight - because turning quickly will burn your speed off, theres no easy way to aquire them unless you have labels on (or use padlock)- and you will just walk into their missiles. On the other hand they may be on a CAS mission or out of ammo - so you could get lucky!!

Havnt played that so will take your word for it If I play F4 consistently my landings will improve to the point where I not only land straight but can keep the nose wheel up - still with plenty of time to stop. If I dont play it for a few months - then it will mean lots of dodgy landings till I practise it again!

Must admit ive never had an armed recon mission ever in a campaign - but them again ive never given it a higher percentage value for squadrons: This is from a campaign data ini btw //----- Player Unit [AirUnit002] AircraftType=F-15A Squadron=8TFS ForceID=1 Nation=USAF DefaultTexture=USAFGray1 BaseArea=Spangdahlem Airbase BaseMoveChance=0 RandomChance=100 MaxAircraft=16 StartAircraft=16 MaxPilots=16 StartPilots=16 Experience=100 Morale=100 Supply=50 MissionChance[sWEEP]=90 MissionChance[CAP]=70 MissionChance[iNTERCEPT]=90 MissionChance[ESCORT]=90 MissionChance=0 MissionChance[CAS]=0 MissionChance[sEAD]=0 MissionChance[ARMED_RECON]=0 <----------------- You could try setting it to a higher percentage value for your squadron MissionChance[ANTI_SHIP]=0 MissionChance[RECON]=0 UpgradeType=NEVER Supply[001].WeaponType=AIM-9L Supply[001].Quantity=600 Supply[002].WeaponType=AIM-7F Supply[002].Quantity=600 Supply[003].WeaponType=Tank600_F15 Supply[003].Quantity=600 Supply[004].WeaponType=GBU-10C Supply[004].Quantity=40 Supply[005].WeaponType=GBU-12B Supply[005].Quantity=80 Has anyone had a Armed recon campaign mission?

Why did they have to paint the nose like that! someone in the paint shop needs a kicking
-
Thanks man Has the width been reduced on those pics? - the F-22 looks more stubby than I thought it was

Only ever seen 4 AIM-9 stations on the wings max - probably a reason for this
-
Heres one way start at about 2000 AGL - keep the FPM on the near end of the runway to keep a shallow decent - keep the speed about 190kts Flare when you are near the ground as normal - dont lift the FPM above about 12 degrees otherwise you land on your a*se. As soon as you land hold down k - put throttle to zero - and if you are not straight get the nose down and put the NWS on (while holding down k still) - keeping it on the runway and breaking are priority. Theres no foolproof way - even now the final landing can be touch and go for me sometimes - u just need to practise - the SF series dont quite prepare you for this nightmare!
-
Read the post above then you will find out Dont take the manual word for word - a lot has changed since it was released Treat the manual as a rough quick start guide - you will learn most things from forums and online flying Also you can change the key mapping if you really want to use the Y key

This is for both Air and Ground engagements If its just your wingman press W to get the menu then press 4 for weapons free If its one of your element press E then 4 for weps free If its everyone in your flight press R then 4 Before you do it blindly check if they will just be flying alone head first into 4 SU-27s Yes you can also use the TAB key to access all the menus too You will see if you keep pressing the W,R, Or E key you will scroll though all the commands for the wingman menu - there are loads - good luck
