  1. maybe there's more types of city tiles (in example City1 to City5) than corresponding TODs (City1 to City4), then you'd have to duplicate one od other city LODs to match the name of unpopulated tile too

  6. short answer no long answer yes, if you have time to tweak exising tileset of your choice to fit Desert.cat tileset naming, there are also some mods for this particular tileset/tines naming available

  8. hmmm, I think Il2 got it well for slower prop planes, albeit that was too easy sometimes up to unrealistic level right now pure belly landings are certain doom in SF2

As for F-16A in USAF lingerie livery I think we here at CA wondered about lack of one since DLC launched 2 years ago, if TK planned one he'd made it as one of the first DLCs quite suprising they made new models of some variants as you say, I thought that was idea Thirdwire put on hold (tweaked models for DLC variants) ...or maybe TK decided to go deeper into the mobile version and considers it worth making new models for some extra variants (OR just to show the core PC crowd finger?) BUT without even rudimentary cockpit view and any A2G, limited time missions, it's still missing few things Air Navy Fighters/F-18 Carrier Landing titles have still, not a single word about Exp3
  11. DEMs can be automatically stitched in TE, I'm thinking more about sticking tilesets (=tiles layouts!) using "export tileset as bitman" in TE and then combining them in Gimp or whatever app
  12. Wrench have you ever experimented with stitching several maps/ part of in graphics program? When exporting two different (edit:) tiles layouts from parts/maps with the exact same tileset is should work in theory this could save the tiling by hand
  13. one can sometimes land with one wheel missing BUT pure no gear/gear up is sadly not working, also in case on gear landing my plae ussually starts to bump in place up until it explodes

  21. IF one is still on 32 bit and old DDR2, go switch to 64 bit and DDR3, the difference is noticeable
