  1. AFAIK the MANX had the 2D vectoring exhausts from the ACTIVE, LO treatment (chines) and internal bays.

  3. Well our model was built around the idea that in any hot war the Soviets would surely be tacti-nuking our airbases as a prelude to invasion, and as such it makes sense to disperse.

  8. Those textures are for one of the earlier iterations of the cockpit which unfortunately was on my external HDD that died. I think the alternative data ini has fixed canards, don't remember. No idea why the RWR doesn't work. Never noticed it...

  10. But Dan, can you explain why he's so against doing interviews or other publicity? I remember tipping off RPS which is a huge blog but apparently he wouldn't give them the time a day. It doesn't make sense to me. I'd want all the exposure I could get.
  11. It's because he uses those s**tty raytraced shadows and not shadow maps like everybody else does.
  12. The worst leeches are the fly-by-night "entrepreneurs" who only take new hires on as "interns" because then they get paid by the govt and doesn't have to pay salaries, essentially gaming the system while systematically shafting unemployed people.
  13. You got it wrong though. "Player weapons" = Air to air missiles. The last patch made the campaign easier by nerfing the SAM's, and as a result broke all the missiles. So this latest patch just separates the code so that AAM's are separate.
  14. Wags himself has posted on the ED boards that they neither expect nor want all 3rd party DCS modules to be DCS: A-10C level-of-fidelity. At least there is the possibility to custom-build systems such as LABS or IRSTs- something that's never been possible with TK's games.

  16. I'd just repaint the panellines with a black brush and play around with opacity.

  18. I really wanted to do the old VF-151 scheme with the colorful eagle but couldn't make it fit properly :(
  19. If you look at the photos of that model kit and compare them to your texture, the model has noticeably darker panel lines and more dirt that makes it pop much better than your texture, where that stuff is too subtle to be visible.
  20. You could try and match the wear on the model so it'll look better.
  21. No if you look at SMS texture the "plane" is blurry while the text is sharper. Since it's essentially vector art drawn on a CRT you'd expect everything to be the same sharpness.   22. BTW I forgot to type this in the readme: You can use SHIFT-0 to toggle the canopy and SHIFT-7 to toggle the refuelling probe.
  23. It's completely different from the 50's pit in the Draken. The best fit for that would F-105 pit.
