  1. By that metric, all the migs are targets you fly past at mach 2, so there is no point to have them modelled or textured since that is only going to affect framerate.
  2. Meh, I can build a Kotlin. Already have all the parts needed for it, just need the time.
  3. I agree with Fubar. If you're not planning to polish the models to at least stock TW level, don't bother.
  4. I think it looks like an attractive little jet. If it is outdated, it is in good company.
  5. I't be nice to have some custom .tods but I haven't had time to retexture them.
  6. I have a JRT as well. Best dogs in the world.
  7. Here's a quick hi-res tileset I put together by combining Gerwin's tiles with desaturated versions of Stary's IsraelME tileset. Your mileage may vary, but to me the added detail makes it look a bit nicer compared to 256 tiles. Link
  8. No need to group. Just select the objects you want to map and apply unwrapuvw modifier.
  9. No I don't want to do an F-18 cockpit.

  10. :(
  11. Because I made the original model? LOL :D
  12. Nice but 1960's era scheme would be either grey or natural metal. This pattern is more of an 80's/90's scheme.
  13. Yeah I was thinking about that but that would've made it incompatible with non-SF2NA installs. Feel free to make the necessary edits and I can include it in a later patch.
  14. View File F-22 Cockpit F-22 Cockpit for Strike Fighters 2 ---------------------------------------------- Since the AFX cockpit essentially was an F-22 cockpit with changes, I decided to make a proper F-22 pit and finally got around to doing so. Also wanted to capitalize on latest developments. You'll see. ---------------------------------------------- Installation: Drop the files into your F-22 folder. ---------------------------------------------- Known Issues: The weapons display indicator is retarded and doesn't accurately count down the AAMRAM's. I tried various ways but none would work to my satisfaction. Wing stations are not supported on the weapons display. If there is sufficient demand I could add them back but it's a handful. ---------------------------------------------- Credits: Models & textures by Julhelm As usual, these files may not be used in payware or otherwise tampered with and reposted without my consent which you may request at NilsD at bredband dot net. 16. Basically everybody jumped on the DLC-wagon because they saw Call of Duty make billions of $ with the concept.
  17. I don't think TK would even reply. He doesn't seem to care much about reviews.
  18. Really really really nice! I think you could fit the stock desert campaign roughly around where Tunisia/Libya is.
  19. What about purchasing some mothballed A-7's from Davis-Monthan?
  20. I beg to differ. Rowan managed to model both the F-4 radar and fully functional A-6 DIANE avionics back in 1991's Flight of the Intruder and in the case of the F-4 radar is exactly the same appearance as in SF2 except FOTI doesn't have ground map mode. The FOTI DIANE supported everything from laydown to manually set mil depression to divetoss. The thing is those early avionics were complex because you didn't have a lot of computing power and the actual computers were often based on vacuum tubes or very early hard-wired solid-state tech. But the actual avionics themselves are nothing more than glorified computers crunching numbers. All of which can be done easily on modern hardware.
  21. Reminds me of this:
