View File RAF-style mirror object addon to match Stary's early WWII cockpit This mod is for WWII themed SF2 installs. It uses Fastcargo's Fake Pilot and seat method to attach a new RAF-style rear-view mirror LOD that matches the shape of the one in Stary's Early WWII pit to the aircraft of your choice. Instructions on how to do this are provided. I'm releasing this under the Combat Ace Fair Use Agreement. Submitter StephenM Submitted 11/30/2017 Category Other

View File StrikeFighter2 World War II Pacific Theater (PTO) Hi-Res 1920x1080 Menu Screens and Music! Version 3 StrikeFighter2 World War II PTO Hi-Res Alternate 1920x1080 Menu Screens and Music! By Viper I just recently downloaded the "All inclusive SF2 Pacific Theater Operations" (PTO) package from the A-Team site. Excellent package, but the menus were not to my liking...soooo...I upgraded them. These menu screens are tailored for that package, but it should work for any SF2 game with a Pacific WWII theme! You should unzip the file and preview the new screens before installing them. I recommend doing to see if you like the screens before installing them. If you choose to install these screens, I recommend that you back up (make a copy of) your FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders in the SF2 Mod folder you're installing this mod into. Just in case you want to go back to your original setup. To install, simply unzip and copy the uncompressed FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders to your StrikeFighter2 mod folder. To remove, simply delete the FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders and rename the copies you made to FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders. My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97\10 64-bit would be something like... C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\<Name of your PTO mod folder>\ Enjoy! PS. veao VEAO no longer developing for DCS
Madfox01 posted a topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
They have said they will be working on the HAWK and P40F, but they aren't developing anything else specifically for DCS. However, it seems they are interested in releasing further products down the line for DCS after they are launched on other platforms. They still have their Typhoon stuff on the website but I don't think the site has been touched by them since that update. But I'd guess that they'd continue their work on that. Weird Dream of WWII with B-25's
KJakker posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - World War II Forum
I had a weird dream last night. In the dream I was following a squadron or group of B-25 from the CBI theater who were being transferred to the ETO. The crazy part of the dream is that when they arrived at their new base they spot Luftwaffe fighters below them preparing the attack the airfield and so the B-25's arm their guns, go full throttle, and dive through the fighters' formation from 6 o'clock high catching the fighters by surprise and downing more than half of the fighters including one B-25 getting five of them and becoming an ace in a day. I woke up just after the bomber that got five landed and the crew was told that observers on the ground could confirm their ace status.- 2 replies

I don't know if anyone else here both watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer back when it was on and is a World War II buff but if you are you might find this interesting. A series called Wasp by an author who goes by the pen-name of Tanstaaflpair made up of, at present, two stories titled "Stingers" and "101st" in which Buffy gets given a new life in a parallel universe after her death at the end of season 5. It just so happens that her new life starts out in California in 1941. Yes, there are some errors so if you are nitpicking you may not enjoy the stories but given a little suspension of disbelief and they are a fun read. I don't want to spoil anything but I will say that the author did get right the fact that the P-38 has a yoke instead of a stick. What could that mean for a Slayer? Series page: Wasp by Tanstaafl First story direct link: Stingers Second story direct link: 101st I have been meaning to mention this for awhile now but was never sure how to broach the subject before now.

Luftwaffe joystick Knuppelgriff KG 13 repro WWII
Flying Colander posted a topic in Buy/Sell/Trade Corner
This is a Luftwaffe flight stick reproduced is resin and aluminium. It sports 5 completely wired buttons. The trigger springs up into a safety. The overall length is 65cm, about 25-26 inches long. The stick is perfect for a DIY flight stick project which I never managed to get to. I originally purchased the grip from a well-known German sim equipment maker. The stick has never been used. I have it up for sale on Ebay starting at $199 which could be a bargain for someone. However, I'm just looking to cover my original purchase price against a strong Euro. $325 and it's yours now. http://www.ebay.com/itm/201438277421?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Am willing to cut the alu post to your specifications to reduce shipping costs. Actual shipping costs, no gouging. Pick up in Phoenix, AZ area welcome. Any questions? Please inquire. -
