      3. NOTES

Keep in mind that I only converted this fine mod into "out of the box" SF2 compatible add-on and uploaded it to help reduce the conversion workload! The guys above did all the hard work!

    2. Hawker Hunter F.4 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2:Europe

This is a simple mod of the excellent Third Wire Hunter to give a flyable Hawker Hunter F.4 fighter-bomber with markings for No.4, No.93, No.98 and No.118 squadrons of the Royal Air Force in the mid-1950's period. All four squadrons equipped the Jever wing of the Second Tactical Air Force and they were tasked with securing air superiority over the North German plain.

      INSTRUCTIONS

      1. Drop the Hunter_F4 folder into your Aircraft folder.

      2. Sprinkle the contents of the Decals folder into your main Decals folder.

Do not just move the folder! You must empty the contents in.

N.B. If you haven't got a Decals folder inside your Objects folder then simply move my
Decals folder into your Objects folder.

      NOTES

This Hunter F.4 is set up, just like the real thing, with just the two inner-wing weapons pylons.

      MARKINGS

All four squadrons did actually operate the Hunter F.4 but the markings are slightly 'generic' although the serials are accurate.

    5. READ-ME!

This is an inclusive read-me file for the WWII Aircraft pack.
Unzip the pack to your Objects folder.

Make sure you have a Nations.ini file that has the entries for Nazi Germany and Japanese Empire or these planes will make your game crash.
These planes run fine on my system and several dissimilar test systems so if you have problems with them, you're on your own.
They are provided as-is with no support what-so-ever.
If you find you don't like them, that's what the Delete button is for.
There will be no changes, improvements, or upgrades to them EVER so don't even bother asking.
The skin templates will be uploaded as a pack just like the planes.
You are free to repaint the planes and do with the skins you create as you please.

YOU ARE NOT FREE TO REDISTRIBUTE THESE PLANES IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, FORM, OR FASHION.
YOU ARE DAMN WELL NOT FREE TO CHARGE FOR THEM OR TRY TO MAKE MONEY WITH THEM IN ANY MANNER.

    10. The german city of Leipzig is erroneously called "Liepzig" in game. Hence a little corrective fix of the 2 affected INI's (_movement.ini and _targets.ini).

You have to simple unzip the 2 files in a temporary place and drop them in your GermanyCE terrain folder (or you may go for the "hard way", extracting these two files, searching manually for "Liepzig" and replacing this by the correct spelling "Leipzig").
