It is totally fictional, and i made it for a bit of fun. Its a fictional Squadron Called the 29th Night Bomber Group "The Night Stalkers"

I made this to add some carrier battles to WOE.
It is my first release so please go a little easy on me.
It are 2 missions focusing on battles on sea were you have to protect your carrier from enemy attacks.

Ki-43, Early War Skin and Ini Update Pak For SF/WoV/WoE PTO Installs
 
This is a partial re-skin, and ini update package for ArmorDave's Ki-43 Oscar. IMPORTANT: this is NOT for the Oscar from Wolf257's WW2 Planes Pak -- it is ONLY for the Oscar released by ArmorDave in his "Japanese Planes Pak" that contains the Zeke, Betty and this early model Oscar.
 
The skin represents 11 Sentai, 1st Chutai during the opening months of the war, as seen and used in Southeast Asia, Netherlands East Indies, Malaya, etc region. Decals and instructions are provided below in the "To Create the Additional Chutias" will allow you to also recreate the 2nd & 3rd Chutais, effectively giving you the entire Fighter Regiment. I say this is a 'partial reskin', as I only created layers in a new template to remove ONLY those items necesary for this mod.
 
Also included is an updated textureset.ini for the original 'camo' skin, giving it the corrected Sentai/Chutai names.
 
New, updated inis include some small renaming in the main ini (to help diferentiate this early model Ki-43-Ia from Wolfs and other Oscar mods by me), data ini with additional and corrected lighting, and the cockpit ini with a new gunsight tga.
The Flight Model remains untouched!
 
= IMPORTANT: This aircraft is designed for use in SF/WoV/WoE -ONLY-, It has =NOT= been tested it in post 8/28/08 patch WoI, nor post 9/08 - 10/08 patch SF/WoV/WoE. You use it in these enviroments at YOUR own risk. =
 
=This mod is designed for use with the Bunyap Weapons Pak of 6/06, as it contains all the needed weapons . If attempting to use this aircraft with any other weapons pak, you'll need to add ALL the WW2 era guns, bombs, torpedoes, etc. They are NOT included in this package.=
 
As expected, there's the standard detailed readme. It's kinda reccomended you give a look through, just so's you know what's going on!

Sherman-M4a1_76 mm

Here is an alternative texture for my No. 1 sqdn Hurricane package. Many sources quote the underside Duck Egg Blue color as having a distint greenish tint. Both A and B schemes are presented here - the A scheme in the post-August 1940 period with the smaller fin flashes and larger underwing roundels.

Here is an X52 profile for WoE.
 
It contains both the profile for the Saitek Profiler software and the customized control setup for WoE.
 
Put the Saitek profile in you Saitek SD6 Profiles folder and select it as the active profile.
 
Put the WoE custom control profile in your \Wings Over Europe\Controls folder and select it in the options menu.
 
All done.

NOTE: this is for the standard X52 Saitek Controller, NOT the Pro version.

These markings are intended for Capun's Hurricane I as installed in Baltika's Battle of Britain SFP1 campaign. Back up your original files if you wish, then add these files to the "1" folder. There are still a few texture mapping issues, but all-in-all it looks like a Hurricane to me.
 
I take little credit for the textures - they are mostly borrrowed from the best that I found on the Internet, I just adapted them to the model. Thanks go to "Stag", Gramps, Baltika, Wrench, and anyone else I forgot that deserves the real credit.
 
Legal bit:
Since these textures are hardly my original work, please don't use them for any commercial purposes - they are for free to increase the enjoyment of the Battle of Britain campaign. The .TGA decals are mine, so do what you want with them.
 
Historical bit:
No. 1 Squadron of the RAF equipped with Hurricane I aircraft in 1938. The original "NA" codes were replaced by "JX" in September 1939. After operations during the Battle of France, the unit was relocated back to Tangmere 23 June 1940 where it operated under 11 Group, entering combat during the Battle of Britain from August 1940.On 09 September the squadron was withdrawn to RAF Wittering under 12 Group to rest, recuperate and refit.
