    3. F-86F-30 Sabre, No.2 Squadron, South African Air Force, Korea, 1953.

No.2 Squadron "The Flying Cheetahs" served throughtout the Korean War, attached to the USAF 18th Fighter-Bomber Wing. Intially flying F-51D Mustangs, they were converted onto Sabres in January 1953.

This is a rebadged stand-alone of the F-86F-30 Sabre contained in the package put together by USAFMTL, David Zurawski, Jimmy Bib, Fubar 512 and Tazkiller; please read the enclosed "Original Read Me" for details of credits. My only contribution involves decalling, some nationality tweaking and hangar/loading screens.

      Notes:

This tool is for use in trying to find the coordinates for the a object model where you don't have access to the original MAX file.

The large one is 20 meters in length and 1 meter in 'tallness'...each large number a meter, each small number a decimeter, and each 'tick' mark the thickness of a centimeter. It may be slightly off by about 5 millimeters due to the thickness of the 'O' tickmark.

The small one is 2 meters in length...basically scale the large one down by a decimal point.

The idea is to use the big one to get you close, then use the small one to get the exact position you need...taking screenshots to help remember what the measurement was.

      Notes and limitations:

The 'Tselina ELINT Satellite' is a real satellite that existed in the 1980s. It was used as a target because I was able to find decent photos of it to build off of.

The ASAT missile was test fired once (and had a successful intercept), but was never approved for production.

I have not found any way to incorperate the satellite into a campaign and have it be designated as a target in a mission.

However, if anyone that's good at building single missions wants to incorperate it into a single mission, feel free to do so.

    8. Strike Fighters/Wings Over Vietnam/Wings Over Europe etc Mi-24 skins readme

All credit for these skins goes to their creators as detailed below. All I've done is to re-format them for SF\WOV\WOE and add a textureSet to each skin.

Not all of the countries for which we have skins are included in the standard NATIONS.ini list, so I've left those as Soviet. It doesn't make any difference to the skins' appearance as there are no decals to worry about. If you have the New Nations mod that includes these missing countries then feel free to modify the relevant TextureSet.

All you need to do is to extract the skin to your Objects\Aircraft\Mi-24 folder, then go fly and blow up some stuff.

Thanks must go to the A Team for making the Mi-24 for SF\WOV\WOE, Tim Conrad for the original Mi-24V, and of course TK for giving us these great sims to play with.

This skin is based on Mike Pearson's textures and converted with his kind permission.

      Enjoy, and good hunting

      Allen

ps You can use these skins in any mods, campaigns etc, but please name check me and the original skinners in your credits as a courtesy. Thanks

    9. This is just zyzy6464's skin for the WOE F-15A re-formated to work with the stock WOI F-15A_Baz.

The skin is for 133 Squadron, Twin Tails, and all credit for the skin should go to zyzy6464.

Unfortunately I couldn't contact him to obtain permission to post this mod, but I haven't altered his skin in any way. All I did was to rename the .bmp files and edit the decal.ini

To install just extract the idfaf folder to your objects/aircraft/F-15A_Baz forlder and then boot up WOI and go fly.

Thanks to TK for this great sim, and of course to zyzy6464 for the original skin.

      Safe flying, and good hunting.

    10. VMA(AW)-242 repaint for the Razbam A-6A (white radomes)

This is part two of my VMA(AW)-242 decals, and the base model is again the recently released A-6 Intruder by Razbam. Just drop the folder into the A-6A folder and go fly. Most aircraft had black radomes early in the unit's history at Da Nang, but many later aircraft were seen with off-white radomes. It will not work with the original WOV A-6A or the add-on created by Monty CZ.

A working decal system is provided for anyone creating new markings for the plane.

      Enjoy,
      Mike Druzolowski
