    1. T-34A Mentor for Uruguay

A bit of history. Extract from Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/399877246768865/photos/a.783005898455996/866828416740410/?type=3

"In 1976, Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya (Fuerza Aerea Uruguaya - FAU) began to seek a replacement for its North American AT-6 trainers and to complement its fleet of Cessna T-41D primary trainers, which had been acquired in 1969.
Once the Beechcraft T-34 was considered as a suitable substitute for the "tejanos", to be incorporated into the FAU inventory, these mentors were registered FAU-660 to 684. La Escuela de Aviación Militar (Escuela Militar de Aviación - EMA) I received four planes, these were registered FAU-669, 670, 676 and 677, while FAU kept two planes: FAU-650, 651, 660, 662, 663, 664, 665, 666, 668, 671, 672 and 678, all operating with Grupo de Aviación N° 1. On July 14, 1980, four mentors were acquired by Chilean Naval Aviation, namely a T-34A, serialized FAU-651, and three T -34Bs, which received serial FAU-685 to 687.
In 1982, when the (Centro de Instrucción y Entrenamiento de Vuelo Avanzado - CIEVA) was created, Group No. 1 of Aviation was designated as an "attack" unit, being replaced from its T-34B by the IA-58 Pucará. In turn, the T-34s were transferred to CIEVA just created.
With the passage of time, the wear and tear, the accidents and the presumed cuts passed the invoice and the number of operating aircraft decreased considerably, until the point of having only 10 planes available for training at CIEVA and EMA for mid-1989.
Fortunately, the following year, through a subsidy from the Spanish Government, the FAU received one T-34A that had been withdrawn from the Air Force of that country between 1987 and 1988, and had been stored in very good conditions. These T-34A arrived by boat in Uruguay on March 8, 1991, joining FAU on April 24, with registration numbers FAU-630 to 646.
In May 1992, two T-34As were transferred to Naval Aviation, these being FAU-630 and 639.
After 20 years of service, it was considered necessary to modernize the EMA training fleet, so in 1999 FAU awarded a contract for 13 Aermacchi SF.260s to a company in the United States."

      * In this pack, everything BUT plane´s numbers and skins are not 100% correct as the planes were used mainly as trainers. This should be pretty boring! *
Anyone is allowed to use the blank skins for other skins without ask me any permission, but don´t forget to share it!

    2. T-34A Mentor for Argentina

First, my congratulations to russouk2004 for the bird!
A special thanks to Wrench for the support.
The Beechcraft Mentor in the Argentine Air Force

By the mid-50s, the Air Force required a basic trainer capable of replacing the nationally manufactured I.Ae.22 DL and the Fiat G-46, then in service. The choice fell on the modern Beechcraft B-45 Mentor that just three years ago had entered service with the USAF.

The contract signed with the North American company in 1956 contemplated the acquisition of 15 units manufactured at the Beechcraft plant located in Kansas and another 75 that would come in kit form to be assembled at the Military Aviation Factory.

The 15 examples manufactured in the United States arrived in the country in flight on June 20, 1957, while the assembly of the other 75 began in 1959 and ended in 1962. The first example manufactured in Córdoba took flight on 11/1 /1959.

Initially, the Mentors entered service with Training Group I of the I Morón Air Brigade, where they served between 1962 and 1970, later they would move to the VII Morón Air Brigade and finally they would form part of the Military Aviation School. Some copies were in service in the Reconquista Military Air Detachment, between 1962 and 1963, these copies would later go to the Directorate of Development, being re-registered as LQ-..., these devices would go to the EAM in 1969.

In 1979, 50 new 260 hp Continental IO-470-N12B engines were purchased to re-engine the 41 Mentor in operation at that time, the works were carried out in the Material Area of Río IV.

      Mentor in action:

Despite being a pure trainer, the T-34 served during the 70s as reconnaissance and aerial observation aircraft in search and attack of insurgent positions during Operation Independence, carried out on the soil of the province of Tucumán and in Operation Torrión.

The last days of the Mentor:.

Between 1996 and 1999, the former LMAASA proceeded to carry out structural reinforcement, avionics renewal and fine-tuning work on 30 still-operable Mentors, this served for a handful of copies to continue flying until the year 2011, at which time they are permanently discharged after almost 50 years of service.

On September 18, 2001, a fatal accident occurred during the baptism flight of the first-year cadets of the Military Aviation School, when one of the aircraft crashed after brushing the control tower with its wing, killing its two occupants. . From that moment on, the fame of the Mentor was undermined, but its operation continued, until on October 8, 2010, the E-046 crashed after taking off, due to a planted engine. Finally, in August 2012, the Air Force decides to decommission the venerable T-34 Mentor.

In 2002 and 2003, two second-hand units were acquired from the Uruguayan Air Force, which in turn had received them from the Spanish Air Force."
extract from here https://amilarg.com.ar/beech-t-34.html  (What a site!)
I strongly recommend you to fly it over the fantastic Gepard´s new Rio de La Plata terrain. Thanks boss!

    3. SF2 T-34A Mentor (USAF) Upgrade Pack by RussoUK/Wrench

      SF2 T-34A Mentor (USAF) Upgrade Pack by RussoUK/Wrench       1/12/2023
-For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged plus Expansion 1 Reccomended)
Mofications to RussoUK's fun little T-34A Mentor (USAF) make some major and minor adjustments in skins, decals, data ini and other misc stuff. This is the full aircraft, with all the bits as issued by Russ in the original release. Just in case you don't have said original release, you won't have to go scrambling around trying to find the "weapons" (ok, drop tank) pilots and sounds. Also, because I was/am too lazy to pick out and remove stuff. Easier this way :)
Both the NMF and NMF/Orange skins have been redone with a lighter shade of pale metal, all new historically correct decals. It should be stated that the serial and buzz numbers, while historically correct, are generic in nature representing no particular base unit or squadron. The SF2 Date SWtich (tm) is active, and will cause the skins to change on partucular dates.
The names in quotations "xxxx" are how they will appear on the game's Drop Down Menu on the Loadout Screen. The skins are:
NMF (Early - starts Day 1) -- "USAF NMF (Early)"
      NMF/Red-Orange (Late - starts 1959) -- "NMF/Red-Orange (Late)"
USAF 3-tone SEA came (1965). This is a non-real skin; I suspect the original FSX/? version is based on a Warbird, privately owned Mentor. However, the markings are correct for the time frame. They represent 80th Flight Training Wing at Sheppard AFB.  --- "80th FTW (F)"
Most markings are decals; exceptions would be wing insignia/nation names. Other markings are decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. There are 18 serial/Buzz numbers for each aircraft. The 2 NMFs use a 'pool' of the same numbers. The Camo uses the correct style for the Vietnam Era. The "F" in the title obviously means "fake".
The aircraft keeps all it's original designations, so will appear the same in-game as the original download.
When in game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown menu, you'll see:
      Beech T-34A USAF (R)
Hopefully, this will diferentiate it from any other T-34A Mentors that may (or may not) be available. The "R" stands for RussoUK, the model maker.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.
      Happy Landings!

    4. P-3F "Orion" (Iran) Pak by Florian/stahri/Wrench

      P-3F "Orion" (Iran) Pak  by Florian/stahri/Wrench        1/3/23
      -- For SF2, Any & All --
This is a mod to Florian's Lockheed P-3C "Orion" martime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft, creating the P-3F as used by the Imperial Iranian Air Force, and later the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force. Consider this a "new(ish)" airplane. This mod is based on Starhi's work. (thank you!)
The skin is all new, from Viper63a's enhanced template, and in jpg format. It is, however still based off Starhi's original. All new decals are included. Decal randomization is TRUE (I mean, c'mon -- there's only 6 airplanes!!!!). All markings are decals. All serials are 100% historically correct.
All sounds, weapons* and various misc stuff are included. (*weapons are the same as the ones included in the recently uploaded P-3C Remod Pack). The SF2 date switch is "on", so in 1979 the IRIAF skin will become active. The only difference is the fin flash.
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. PLEASE read it!!!

    5. P-3A/B "Orion" Pak by Wrench/Florian

      P-3A/B "Orion" Pak  by Wrench/Florian                1/1/23
      -- For SF2, Any & All --
This is a mod to Florian's Lockheed P-3C "Orion" martime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft, "backdating" it to the original P-3A & B models of the early 1960s through 1980(ish). Consider this a "new(ish)" airplane.
Included are 3 US Navy skins, representing early Orions in Fleet service.
Early Paint Scheme of Seaplane Grey/White:
VP-8 Tigers (2nd oldest still active USN squadron)
      VP-46 Grey Knights
Late Paint Scheme (1968 & later) Light Gull Grey/White:
      VP-5 Mad Foxes
The SF2 date switch is active. Each skin gets a set of 18 Serial (BuNum) and Modex numbers. VP-5 gets it Fox tail art as well. As is usual, those BuNums matched to their Modex are marked with a star (*). The others, while correct for their squadrons, could not be matched to a Modex.
All skins are in jpg format. All new decals are included. Decal randomization for ALL skins is TRUE. All markings are decals, EXCEPT the VP-5 blue tail fin top. It had to be painted on, for some odd reason I've yet to sus out.
All sounds, weapons* and various misc stuff are included. (*weapons are the same as the ones included in the recently uploaded P-3C Remod Pack)

    6. P-3C "Orion" Remod Pak

      P-3C "Orion" Remod Pak                12/19/22
      -- For SF2, Any & All --
This is a fairly heavy overhaul, plus numerous additions, to Florian's Lockheed P-3C "Orion" maritime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft. Please be advised, as the physical model has not been "finished" since it's 2012 release, it may still be considered an "advanced Beta".
This package, due to numerous changes (listed in the Change Log), is designed to REPLACE IN TOTAL the early 2011 kit. If you have that original repackaging mod, you CAN just drop all of this one directly over it, or delete the aircraft and decals folders and start fresh. Your Choice (tm). Either way SHOULD work with no issues. But always think 'safety first'.
The older, original skins have been completely revamped:
      USNGrey1
USNGrey2 *see notes about these 2*
Royal Norwegian Air Force (No.333 Squadron) original Dark Sea Grey, and NEW Lo-Viz
      The new skins are:
JMSDF -in both GullGrey/White and LoViz grey overall (see notes)
      RAAF -both #10 & #11 squadrons
      USN- VP-40 "Fighting Marlins" (GG/W)
All skins are in jpg format. All new decals are included, "almost" all with historically matching BuNums-to-Modex numbers (wherever possible, and the information was discoverable). Decal randomization for ALL skins is TRUE. For those forces with paint scheme changes at specific years, the SF2 Date Switch (tm) is active.
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. There is also a huge amount of information in the "Notes" section. PLEASE read it!!!

    8. Mirage F1CT standard T1

      Mirage F1CT standard T1
This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him.
The Mirage F1CT is a ground attack version of the Mirage F1C-200. Following their replacement in the air defence role by the Mirage 2000, the French Air Force had a number of surplus Mirage F1C-200s, and in 1988 it launched a conversion programme to turn these aircraft into interim ground attack aircraft to replace elderly Mirage IIIEs and Mirage Vs. The Mirage F1CT program brought the avionics of the F1C up to the standard of the F1CR, with the radar upgraded with the additional air-to-ground modes of the Cyrano IVM-R, an improved navigation/attack system fitted, with a laser rangefinder fitted under the nose. It was fitted with new Mk 10 ejection seats, while improved radar detection and warning devices, chaff/flare dispensers, and secure radios were also added. It gained the ability to carry a variety of air-to-ground weapons, including rockets, cluster bombs and laser-guided bombs, while retaining the F1Cs air-to-air armament (Wikipedia).
      F1CT1 specifics:
R550, no R530, S530F, AUF2, no CLB4, no CLB8 radio-altimeter Inertial Navigation System Seat Mk10 RWR sherloc AAR probe laser ranging TMV630 Barax, Barracuda, Phimat, Corail gondolas (P0 station)  CC420 pods capability RPL201 EFT no left gun double wingtip position lights A big thank to all on Combatace and C6 forums that helped us solving issues we encountered.
Any omission in credits is totally unwanted, if I forgot somebody, let me know, I will correct this.
This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware.
      Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms.
      Enjoy

    10. IL-28 - H-5 COLLECTION

      THE BEAGLE KENNEL
A FULL COLLECTION OF ILYUSHIN IL-28 & HARBIN H-5 "BEAGLES".

A "one stop shop" for the IL-28/IL-28R/H-5 with all the colour schemes for all the nations using the type. Of course some of the schemes are somewhat speculative, but, I think they are definitely useable and valid, the Pakistani beagles for example, were not in service for very long, as the aircraft were not popular in Pakistani service, also the Finnish ones, Finland only had about 3 or 4 actual airframes, and were mainly used for target towing. However, I think we can all apply a little artistic licence and imagination here.
I have adjusted the aircraft a bit, ie I have added Geezers excellent RAF pilots to the crew positions, as Beagles tended to be flown in leather flying helmets rather than bone domes, I have also swapped the rear guns on the H-5's to reflect the changes done by the Chinese. Also I have upgraded the cockpits to utilise STARY's pit for the type, and enabled the RWR as well. This enables a viable bombing position and is a really nice upgrade to the aircraft. I have made the weapons for the Harbin H-5 Chinese, and included the weapons in this upload. This is an all inclusive upload, so you will need all 4 files to get the full experience !!!
The first 3 files are the actual aircraft, and the "ADDONS" file contains all the sounds, pilots, weapons, guns, decals So please make sure you do use that file as well !!!

All the usual shout outs to all the usual people, who keep this sim alive and kicking.

      P-2H "Neptune" Remod Pak                11/19/22
      -- For SF2, Any & All --
This is a complete overhaul, plus numerous additions, to the P2V-7/P-2H Neptune package I released in 2011 (THAT long ago????!!!!). I was going over some things, and found numerous flaws and faults, and chose to fix them up.
This package, due to numerous changes (listed in the Change Log), is designed to replace in total the early 2011 kit. If you have that original repackaging mod, you CAN just drop all of this one directly over it, or delete the aircraft and decals folders and start fresh. Your Choice (tm). Either way will work with no issues.
      Skin sets NOW included are:
These 3 from the original 2011 pack--
VP-18 "Flying Phantoms", NAS Jacksonville as seen during the Cuban Missile Crisis
VP-65 "Tridents", NAS Point Magu, in the mid/late 1960s through the 1970s
VP-69 "Totems", NAS Whidbey Island, in the 1970s
      plus ...
      320 Squadron, RNNAS (now included)
      The new skins are:
      JMSDF (2,3,4 & 51 Kokutais)-squadron insginia are randomly applied
      RAAF (10 & 11 Squadrons) - early Seaplane Gray/White and late Gull Gray/White skins

VP-18 "Flying Phantoms" NAS Jacksonville, NAS Rossevelt Roads (Early SG/W)
Argentina -- Both original COAN skins NOW included!
The only country's skins NOT included are the RCAF/CF by 1977Frenchie; his set for the CP-122 which is good enough to stand on it's own :) .
All skins remain in their original bmp format. All new decals are included, "almost" all with historically matching BuNums-to-Modex numbers (wherever possible, and the information was discoverable). Decal randomization for ALL skins is TRUE. For those forces with paint scheme changes at specific years, the SF2 Date Switch (tm) is active.  This can be seen on the Loading Screen, skin/squadron drop-down menu as shown below:
      VP-9 Golden Eagles (>1962) (before 1962)
      or
      VP-69 Totems (<1964)  (after 1964)
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install.

    13. SF2 3W B-52D/F Upgrade/Mod Pack

      SF2 3W B-52D/F Upgrade/Mod Pack           9/28/2022
-For SF2 (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended =MUST= have SF2:V installed!!)-
This pack contains some mods to the stock 3rd Wire B-52D & the user made B-52F model "Stratofortress" as used by SAC during the 1950s through the 1980s.
There are actually 3 aircraft in this pack; due to "oddities" with some loadouts, I found this was easier to do:
      B-52D (57-64) nuclear strike
B-52D (64-83) conventional, with "Big Belly" mods
      B-52F (58-78) conventional & Nukes.
The F, while retaining is nuke abilities, is mostly for conventional iron bombing after 1965.
Almost all markings are decals, with very few things painted on. All serial numbers are historically correct for the models depectied. BUT the D cereals should be considered 'generic' in nature as they represent no particular unit. The F serials, OTH, and the nose arts, are also correct, but not 'per squadron/wing'. It should be noted, the F gets all serials for the 89 aircraft produced. These are updated version of the originals issued in 2009. The D model gets all new decals, made for this mod.
Decal randomization is true. Most skins remain in their 1stGen bmp format. New sounds, effects, pilot/gunner figures, weapons, and hangar & loading screens. Various effects are included for the nuclear weapons. The SF2 date switch is used for some skins, and also in the loadout ini with year-specific loadouts. These aircraft are equipped with an "optical" bombsight for you perverts that inisist on flying the Heavies <g>. In each aircraft's folder is an instructional jpg on "how to". There are also different loadouts for conventional or nuke, accessable through the games' mission editor.
An example of the skin listing, from the 52F:

the >1964 (less than or 64 and eariler) and <1964 (after 1964 ie: 65 start date). This should give the general idear.

    17. SF2 F-86H "Sabre Hog" Pack by Zur, Yakarov79 & Wrench

      SF2 F-86H "Sabre Hog" Pack by Zur, Yakarov79 & Wrench          8/29/2022
-For SF2 (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)-
The final culmination of a project that started 'way back in 2012 by Zur. Somewhere along the line, I recieved his max files and couldn't find anyone to finish the job. Fortunately for the SF community, Yakarov stepped up and took the challenge in the spring of this year (2022). That final result you see here!
We present to you the North American F-86H Sabre; the last of the Hot Rods!!!
You have a good selection of skins for various time frames in it's service life:
      USAF "Front Line" Units"
50th FBW, USAFE (1953-57) Hahn AB, Germany
      10th FBS
      81st FBS
      417th FBS
533rd FDS, 83rd FBW (56-58) Seymour Johnson AFB NC
A generic NMF skin to build other units from. It carries the TAC badge on the tail fin. The decal ini is easily edited.
As the squadron markings are decals, there is one set of NMF skins used by all.
      Air National Guard:
There are 2 versions of each of the following skins; one with "regular" markings presentation, the others with tail codes and Vietnam era serial presentations. The later VN style skin is as seen during the Pueblo Crisis when these ANG units were Federalized, and Based at Cannon AFB, NM from 5/68 through 12/68. All 4 skins are in SEA 3-tone camo.
      104th TFS, Maryland ANG
      138th TFS New York ANG
While national markings are 'painted on', all others are decals. All serial numbers are 100% historicley correct for the units shown, with only 1 exception -- for the 104th, I couldn't find the full 26, so the last 4 are marked with a (+) plus sign; consider these 'generic'. Decal randomization is TRUE for all skins. The SF2 date switch is active on pretty much all the skins. For those squadrons listed in the game's SquadronList ini, their displayed name has been activated by my "Fake SqTail decal" (patent pending)
To diferentiate =THIS= Sabre Hog from the other one (if you're able to obtain it), you'll see the following on the Aircraft selection drop-down listing:
      F-86H Sabre Hog (Y)
The (Y) is for Yakarov, as he finished off the model.
All other necessary parts are included; sounds, drop tanks (built into the LOD), pilot figure, hangar and loading screens. All weapons use stock 3W items.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!!

    18. F-5C_Skoshi Tiger_Ver1.0.7z

      August 2022
      ===============
United States Air Force F-5C Skoshi Tiger Volume III VERSION 1.0
      ------------------------------------------------------------
We are proud to present the F-5C Skoshi Tiger, a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, and one of the most enduring American military aircraft designs ever produced during the Cold War period. This third Volume depicts the following variants; the USAF F-5C and the VNAF F-5C. It has been our goal to provide to the simmer a highly detailed model and texture base which preserve the beautiful lines of this aircraft; and to engineer flight model files and a cockpit/gauge file-set that are authentic and add to the immersion of the flying experience within the Strike Fighters 2 series.

       INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
      --------------------------
      1. Copy the contents of the "To Mods Folder(s)" to your  SF2 Mod directory.
Allow directory merging and overwrites, provided the overwrites pertain to "fake pilot" entries, as well as weapons made by ravenclaw_007, which are included in this and many other releases.
      2. Add the entries of "ADD_TO_SOUNDLIST.txt" to your SOUNDLIST.INI (located in the "user\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Flight" folder). If one does not exist, then you will need to extract it using the 3rdWire CAT extract utility.  You are simply required to substitute the "XXX"s  with the next sequential number in the sound file section of the file.

        NOTE    1:
      ------------
Both Regular and Higher resolution cockpit textures are included in their own distinct folders in the package.
The user may alternate between the two by "commenting out"
the relevant line in the F-5C_COCKPIT.INI

      [CockpitData]
      Directory=cockpit           <---This is the default
      //Directory=cockpit_Lo-Fi

In order to "activate" the higher resolution textures
you would decomment the previous line and comment out
      the next line, thus:

      [CockpitData]
      //Directory=cockpit
      Directory=cockpit_Lo-Fi   <---This is now Low-Res

        NOTE    2:
      ------------
Another frame-rate friendly option for those with older hardware is to use the Next level of Detail Model as the primary external model. This simply involves changing the first line in the F-5A_HAF.ini  from this..
      [LOD001]
      Filename=F-5C.LOD
      to this..
      [LOD001]
      Filename=F-5C_002.LOD
Much effort was made to provide those with lower end systems an alternative lower poly-model to be able to enjoy the F-5a,  so please take advantage of this _002.LOD model should you experience frame-rate issues.  While not as "rounded" as the Higher poly version, it is nonetheless just as detailed and extensive.
       NOTE    3:
      ------------
For those who may find loading times excessive, the .jpg files in the texture folders can be reduced to 50% of their size without sacrificing too much surface detail.
       Keys:
      -------
      SHIFT+0 -> canopy open
-/= (Default thrust vector Keys) -> elevator trim

      FEATURES:
      * A highly detailed external 3d model, including all features specific to the F-5C including...Aerial refueling probe and external armor plates under the cockpit and engine areas
      * Specular color and Normal (bump) maps.
      * Seven Level of Detail models (LODs), providing an almost seamless transition from distance to distance; and perhaps more importantly, ensuring that the frame-rate "impact" of the aircraft is as low as possible.
      * Two sets of highly detailed external Fuel Tanks by ravenclaw_007; both the 150 gallon Factory tanks and the 275 gallon variants; the NF-5A being the only F-5a variant to carry them.
      * Extensively fine-tuned flight parameters in the aircraft data configuration files, emphasizing the F-5A's agile and highly maneuverable characteristics - courtesy of  Baffmeister.
      * 3 high resolution texture sets; thoroughly researched historic depictions of the Aircraft fielded by both the USAF and VNAF Squadrons.
*Accurate serial numbers and pilot name decals for both the 4503rd Tactical Fighter Squadron and 110th commando squadron.
      * Quality sound-set included. Base sounds, by Guuruu, were sourced from existing recordings of various aircraft at air-shows and were modified  to match the prominent characteristics of the F-5A General Electric turbojets, the "buzz" of the M39 Pontiac 20mm machinegun, and the flap/Air-brake, undercarriage deployment and retraction sequences of the Freedom Fighter.
      * Super detailed  dedicated F-5C 'Virtual Cockpit'  with animated throttle control, rudder pedals, control stick,  landing gear lever, canopy, canopy lever, drag-chute lever, weapons selectors and weapon station arming flick switches, flap position indicator..and more.
      * A full complement of highly (or should I say "insanely" detailed  weapons carried by the USAF  F-5C, all by ravenclaw_007.
      * Comprehensive F-5C Skoshi Tiger Loadouts  representing the weapons carriage evolution of the F-5C in USAF service from 1965 to the 1967 by Sophocles.
      * Complex animation of canopy opening mechanism, and animated Turbine blades; both thanks to ravenclaw_007.
      * GKAB's superb highly detailed crew figure with authentically modeled oxygen mask and flight helmet.
      * All new afterburner, emitter, and engine smoke effects by Guuruu.
      * Functioning elevator trim controls and gauge, using the Thrust Vector Controls; courtesy of Cliff7600.

      PILOT NOTES
      -----------

F-5C Limit and Reference Speeds. [Indicated Airspeeds]
FLAPS (FULL DEFLECTION): 300kts for both leading and trailing edge.
FLAPS (MANOUEVERING):    450kts for both leading and trailing edge
NOTE: The F-5A uses full flaps for take off but due to a game bug you must manually select full flaps for take off when player flown. The        AI will use full flaps although you can hear the flap sound cycling between flap 1 and flap 2.
      LANDING GEAR: 240kts
      DRAG CHUTE: 165kts
      CANOPY: 50kts
      NOSE WHEEL STEERING: 65kts
      MAXIMUM INDICATED AIRSPEED: 710kts [redline]
MAXIMUM MACH: 1.72 Mach design limit but thrust/drag limited to about mach 1.50 in a 60deg dive from 50,000ft.
      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      TAKE OFF ROTATION SPEEDS
13500lbs: 155kts [full internal fuel and two sidewinders]
20500lbs: 195kts [about the maximum weight possible with included stores]
NOTE: Use full flaps for take off! Adding 6kts for every 1000lbs above 13500lbs should give good aft stick/rotation speeds.
      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      CLIMB SPEEDS
      Military Power
          13500lbs: 375kts with a transition to mach 0.89
          20500lbs: 310kts with a transition to mach 0.74
      Maximum Power
          13500lbs: 595kts with a transition to mach 0.93
          20500lbs: 480kts with a transition to mach 0.85
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      FINAL APPROACH SPEEDS
With 500lbs fuel remaining and some empty racks use 160kts. Add 5kts for every additional 500lbs of fuel.
NOTE: Target touch down speed is 20kts less than final approach speed.
      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                             The Gun Sight
      --------------------------------------------------------
The designers of the F-5A elected the simplest and most reliable gunsight conceivable. The low-cost, optical-mechanical reticle display was manually adjustable from 0 to 200 mils depression. It was collimated to avoid sighting errors. The gunsight was acceptable for aiming AIM-9B missiles, guns, rockets and bombs.
It was possible to "replicate" this simple, mechanical operation within Strike Fighters 2 series parameters, and thanks to Crusader's cockpit.ini entries, we have the following functionality: The site itself is animated so that the Mils lever and thecombining glass of the site move according to the Mills selected (activated when
cycling through air to air weapons ; and more importantly, air to ground weapons with "Backspace" and "\" Backslash accordingly).

    20. B-47E by Coyote Aerospace

BOEING B-47E STRATOJET by COYOTE AEROSPACE
This is a semi historical mod to represent the B-47E through its career as SACs most numerous bomber.
It is semi historical because there were so many variations on equipment and markings across 1300+ aircraft over its 12 year career that it is impossible to accurately represent all of them. Instead, all major units that could be represented are (in other skin packs) and the general paint schemes used during the appropriate eras are modded for the forward deployments known as Operation REFLEX. Further, new nuclear weapons have been included.
To keep file sizes down somewhat, unit skins will be release by numbered air force and available in the SF2 Skins download section

          INSTALLATION
      unzip installation folder
cut and paste to desired mods folder
allow overwrites (some effects and weapons mainly)
IF YOU HAVE THE B28 NUCLEAR WEAPONS ALREADY FROM ANOTHER MOD
use caution. I have set the nuclear weapons to a specific station code as NUC. Other mods featuring the B28 weapon do not have this yet, although i intend to do a comprehensive ini edit later this year across many weapons and aircraft

FB B-47 Stratojet (Model 450) Strategic Bomber group .....    very valuable source of information on markings and weapons
          Known Issues
      - At this time there are not models for the RATO pods that were commonly used by the B-47. I have a method figured out for it,
but we would need someone to model the horsecollar device with 33 JATO bottles
      - Not every upgrade to the Stratojet is modeled. Again, there were 1300+ aircraft built, and 6 phases for upgrades. The (53) roughly represents
the aircraft after introduction, the (57) in between Phase 3 and 4. Anyone that would like to work any fakepilot mods to represent each of the
6 phases, as well as modifications like TEE TOWN would be welcomed.
      - while online sources state the 341st Bomb Wing operated Stratojets, veteran and book sources could not even find proof of operation, let alone
marking information (they came through on all other Wings). Therefore I have not included this Bomb Wing in the mod.
      - The "afterburner" trick to use water injection on take off is in effect, from 99-100%. If you want realism, and to not be visible across the
continent, dont exceed 97% power in flight.

    22. Canadair CL-13 Sabre F.Mk.6

The Canadair Sabre Mk.6 was the final variant and was considered to be the "best" production Sabre ever built.
It was equipped with a two-stage Orenda engine developing 7,275 lb (3,302 kg.) of static thrust. Its altitude
performance and climb rate was enhanced over the Mk 5 and the reinstatement of the wing leading edge slat gave
it excellent low-speed characteristics.        The first production model was completed on 2 November 1954 and
ultimately 655 were built with production terminating on 9 October 1958. A total of 390 Mk 6s went to the RCAF
with the majority replacing the existing Canadair Sabre Mk 5s at the Air Division squadrons in West Germany and
France. The main air threats to NATO in the 1950s in Central Europe were the early variants of the Soviet MiG
the MiG-15, MiG-17, MiG-19 and MiG-21. Based on the Korean War experience, the selection of the Mk 6 Sabre to
provide an effective opposition to the MiG threat proved to be a logical one. Canada’s commitment to NATO was
to provide 12 squadrons located at four bases – two in France (Marville and Grostenquin) and two in West Germany
(Zweibrücken and Baden Soellingen). Initially, the contribution consisted of only Sabre aircraft; however, later
it was decided to include the Avro Canada CF-100 aircraft in the defense package to provide a night and all-weather
      fighter capability.
In addition to the RCAF deliveries, 225 Canadair Mk 6 Sabres were exported to the West German Luftwaffe, six were
delivered to the Colombian Air Force, and 34 went to the South African Air Force.
