SF2 USAF/NATO/Western Cargo Planes by Veltro2K 3/20/2013
-For SF2, Any and All-
This is a re-release of these aircraft, as some have stated a desire to have them again.
This pak includes all my reskins, decals, ini tweeks from the various "upgrade paks" I'd released before the aircraft were disappeared.
This pak contains =ONLY= those aircraft used by the USAF, our Allies and other NATO powers. The Soviet/Warsaw Pact transports are someplace else....
Included in this pack are:
C-141A Starlifer
C-141B Starlifter
C-5A Galaxy
C-17 Globemaster III
G-222 Spartan (called such in USAF service)
Some may be more complete than others, with regards to decals and such. Some are fairly 'untouched', and will need further decaling, etc. Some hangar and loading screens are NOT in SF2 format, and will need redoing (meaning: I never got around to them!).
All the original readmes from the Upgrade Paks (I could find!) are included within this main folder. I'd reccomend reading them, just for fun!
Skin and some decal templates (again, when I could find them!) are included. The decal template is for the "ttag" decal, that is for USAF AMC usage.
This pak is quite large, as the skins remain in their bmp format. You can convert to jpg at you convience.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other important notations. Also, the Legal Statement has been changed with regards to this aircraft.
For those that still have the original releases, you may not need to reapply this package. But, to be safe, PLEASE check over your aircraft to be sure. Thank You :).
**These aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition. There are/may be some issues with the LOD that may not/cannot be resolved. Period. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be created. For now.**
------------------------------------------------
=TO INSTALL:
As I always reccomend, unzip the "sf2_veltro2k_cargoplanes_pak.zip" to a temp folder or your desktop or somewhere else that's easy to find
Then, simply, copy/paste the Objects folder supplied directly =OVER= your existing /Objects folder.
Copy/Paste the supplied Sounds folder directly OVER your existing /Sounds folder
You'll probably be asked "OVERWRITE?", just say Yes.
I've already seperated out the various folders (Aircraft, Decals, etc), so they'll drop right where they're supposed to be.
----------------------------
Notes:
Again, as these are considered "heavies", they are best left under AI control, even though they all have cockpits. What can be done with them, I've not too many clues...however, with the SF2 mission builder, they can be inserted into campaigns, single missions and a host of other opportunities that present themselves. Use you imagination.
If there is a HUGE hugh and cry, perhaps I can be moved to locate all the Soviet transports Veltro did....if I can find where I put them!

SF2 Upgrade Pack For Western Transports, Airliners and AWACs by Veltro2K 6/1/2018
= For SF2, Any/All (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) =
This is a remod pack for Veltro2k's Western/NATO Transport, Airliner and AWAC aircraft. This package =ONLY= contains the data inis for the aircraft listed below. You will still need to locate the original aircraft.
It is highly suggested (read: REQUIRED) that you have SF2NA as part of your merged installs, as several of these reference the stock 3W Tu-95 Bear destroyed model. Some reference the stock 3W An-12, Tu-16 or B-52D (SF2V) destroyed models as well. Flight Models remain "as issued"; they've not been touched by me.
All New Data Inis Included in this pack are for:
C-5A Galaxy
C-17 Globemaster II
C-141A Starlifter
C-141B Starlifter
G-222/C-27 Spartan
E-767
KC-767 (KC-46)
Nimrod MR.1 (RAF ASW/Martime Patrol)
Br.1150 Atlantique (ASW/Martime Patrol)
PB-1W Navy Fortress (USN 1940s/50s AEW - B-17)
DC-8 *
B-747 Pan Am"Jumbo Jet"
*The DC-8 mods are for the package by Daddyairplanes*
All aircraft have had their data inis reworked to correct, add, move, remove or generally "fix" all the hit boxes, relocate components (ie: fuel tanks, as best as possible inside the airframe) and in general clean up many things that simply escaped notice. The exception here is the Pan Am 747, which gets a partly repainted skin, with all new 100% accurate civil registration number decals (18) AND their matching "Clipper" names. Decal Randomization is "TRUE". The 747 and DC-8s also get an avionics upgrade (GM radar). Some sounds are included; you may have them alread, or not; but I like "to be sure".
Please note, some of these aircraft may NOT be in the SF2 downloads section; one will need to Search the SF1/Wo* (1stGen) downloads. Equally important, is to HAVE the aircraft installed =BEFORE= installing this Upgrade Pack. Kinda makes sense, right? <gr>
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.
Happy Landings!

To Install:
Another reminder: ****HAVE THE AIRCRAFT INSTALLED TO YOUR SF2 MODS FOLDER OF CHOICE =BEFORE= INTALLING THE UPDATE/UPGRADE PACKAGE.****
As always reccomended, unzip the "sf2_v2k_western_heavies_upgrade_pak" to a temp folder or your desktop or somewhere that's easy to find.
Copy/Paste the /Objects folder DIRECTLY into the SF2 game install of choice's /Objects folder. It's already divided into the /Aircraft and /Decals sub-folders. You'll asked to "Overwrite?" , just say yes. It'll change nothing.
Copy/Paste the included /Sounds folder DIRECTLY over you existing Sounds folder. Allow the "Overwrite". I've included sounds you may already have, but wanted to be sure that (nearly) everything was available to the End User (tm).
That should cover it, go fly!

Other Notes and Nonsense:
Included are the original Data inis, already backed up, in case you End Users (tm) don't appriciate all the hard work that goes into creating, giving, and keeping up the Mods we do.
Remember, these mostly exist for "Eye Candy" and Targets (tm), but I felt it was well worth the effort to try and correct the hit boxes. Also, remember they're really not to be Player Usable, even with cockpit, as the Game Engine has no coding for their proper usage. But, have fun anyway!
A note about the destroyed model usage: While not 100%, we work with what we have, after all, it's just a burning, dead wreck on the ground. If a 3d Modeler (tm) wants to build crashed birds; go for it, I says!
I know the "Clipper **" name decals are in the wrong font, but after spending an hour and half trying to FIND the correct one, just chose to use one of my script fonts. Deal with it <g>.
At present, there are NO plans whatsoever to update the individual aircraft packages. End Users are on their own to locate the aircraft in the CombatAce downloads sections and apply this fix-it pack.

B-58A "Hustler" 7/8/2011
-- For SF2, Any and All --
This is a modification of Pasko's B-58 Hustler, to bring it more in line with SF2 standards.
If you have the 2009 SF2 Update, just install this directly OVER your pre-existing folders, allowing the overwrite. If you don't, don't worry about it.
Two skins are included (the same basic skin used twice), with all new 100% Historicaly Correct (tm) serial numbers, listing each operational aircraft that served with the 43rd and 305th Bomb Wings. Unfortunatly, I was unable to break them down each into which served with each of the 6 Squadrons in the 2 Wings, but this should do nicely.
There are also 2 cockpits included:
The original SF2 mod by Dave (USAFMTL), that uses the F-106 pit and,
An extensivelly modified F-4 Phantom pit (stock 3W ini only -as the cockpit exists in all versions of the game). This one makes use of many 'moves' to drop items out if sight, and uses the physical external model for the windshield framing.
Neither one is perfect ... this is elaborated further in the "Notes" section, with instructions on what to switch or turn off in the various inis; depending on which you choose. Right now, it's using the Phantom pit, as it really is quite a bit closer than the 106's.
In the Loadout ini, several alternate loadouts are listed. These can be accessed from the 3rdWire mission editor screen (for post-Expansion Pak 2 users). Other ini edits repositon the running & landing lights, add 'virtual' flaps (as this aircraft made use of drooping elevons -without the original source file this is impossible to duplicate-), minor engine adjustments, and avionics tweeks. It could also stand a slightly improved FM; the changes and other comments are in the "Notes" section. Weapons are included, the nuke explosion effects are =NOT=. YOu should probably have them from the GunnyPak. Speaking of weapons, a "new" 8kt ARM is included; this is a fictional ARM version of the Genie, more in line with "Fail Safe" and the No.6 Decoy/EW/Escort aircraft, and gives you a SEAD load. Kill SAM sites DEAD!!! Since real decoys don't/can't exist....it's just for fun! There's also and EO version, that can be used for STRIKE or SEAD missions.
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me. This =IS= Required reading -- there are some issues that are addressed there.
---------------------
To Install:
As always, unzip the "sf2_hustler_pak.zip" to a temp folder or your desktop, or somewhere' else that's easy to find.
Then, simply copy/paste the /Objects folder directly OVER the /Objects folder of your SF2 install of choice.
All the folders have already been seperated out into their correct format that SF2 requires/wants/needs/should have for all mods.
That's it ... Off you go!
-----------------------
Notes and Other Nonsense:
Ok, first and foremost of importance ...when carrying the Two Component Pod for Nuke strikes - DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ORDER YOUR WINGMAN TO 'DROP TANKS'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-
This WILL cause the game to lockup/freeze for some reason, and the only way out is C/A/D to start the Task Manager and kill it that way. You, however, can drop your tank, exposing the multi-megation bomb, This is how it would have been delivered ... the tank was kept until the bomb run, jettisoned, and then the bomb dropped. Apparently, when Wingmen are given the 'attack my target' order, they should automatically dump the externals.
(Unfortunately, during STIKE mission testing, it seems that giving your wingman ANY orders like - 'attack my target' may also freeze the game. Don't know what's causing it. Something releated to the nukes/TCP maybe??? Just be advised ... and let the AI handle ALL of these aircraft). They're quite fun for high-mach, low level flying.
Don't forget, too, these aircraft would have operated alone on their missions into the Soviet Union, and NOT in formations. You may want to send you wingmen home on STRIKE, and do the job yourself. Your choice -- but just remember what happens.
Also, the aircraft =REALLY= needs a new flight model ... IMO it has too much drag and not enough lift, and has a tendencay to 'tail stall' during hard turns. Of course, it's a frakking BOMBER, and shouldn't be making fighter-like manuvers.
There ARE some clipping issues with the Phantom cockpit as used -- the side window frames disappear. As I'm totally opposed to fucking around the the games clipping distances, these have been left alone. You'll just have to not turn you head too far left or right. I've narrowed down the cockpit views to try and prevent this as much as possible, but it's a moot point.
Which brings up another point -- my feelings are that even with cockpits and such, bombers should be left under the control of the Games AI -- it does a much better job of putting iron (or uranium/plutonium in this case) on the target.
I'm may also update Pete "pappychksix" Fredrico's SEA camo skin, and will release that when it's done. It needs better decals! Howeve, given the excessively SMALL conventional load ... the aircraft may be better used as a Pathfinder, with high-explosive ARMs, LOTS & LOTS of chaff, and super-powerfull jammers. Essentially, and EB-58s, similiar to the EB-66s as used in Southeast Asia. We'll see....
----------------------
-Swapping Cockits:
If for any reason, you want to go back to the 106's pit, here's what you do:
Open the B-58A_DATA.ini, and scroll down to the [NOSE] section. You'll see this:
[Nose]
ParentComponentName=Fuselage
ModelNodeName=Nose
//ShowFromCockpit=FALSE
ShowFromCockpit=TRUE
you'll note I already have the switch in place to turn off the nose, thereby removing the external windows/windshield framing. Simply uncomment the 'ShowFromCockpit=FALSE', and comment OUT the 'ShowFromCockpit=TRUE
It would then look like this:
[Nose]
ParentComponentName=Fuselage
ModelNodeName=Nose
ShowFromCockpit=FALSE
//ShowFromCockpit=TRUE
Save and close the data ini.
In the B-58A.ini, where the cockpit statements are, you'll see this:
[AircraftData]
AircraftFullName=B-58A Hustler
AircraftShortName=B-58
AircraftDataFile=B-58_data.ini
//CockpitDataFile=B-58_cockpit.ini <---
CockpitDataFile=F-4E_COCKPIT.INI <---
HangarScreen=B-58_Hangar.bmp
LoadoutImage=B-58_LOADOUT.bmp
LoadingScreen=B-58_loading.bmp
LoadoutFile=B-58_loadout.ini
AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll
AvionicsDataFilename=B-58_AVIONICS.INI
You do pretty much the same thing, commenting out the F-4E cockpit ini, and uncommenting the B-58 cockpit ini. Thusly:
[AircraftData]
AircraftFullName=B-58A Hustler
AircraftShortName=B-58
AircraftDataFile=B-58_data.ini
CockpitDataFile=B-58_cockpit.ini
//CockpitDataFile=F-4E_COCKPIT.INI
HangarScreen=B-58_Hangar.bmp
LoadoutImage=B-58_LOADOUT.bmp
LoadingScreen=B-58_loading.bmp
LoadoutFile=B-58_loadout.ini
AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll
AvionicsDataFilename=B-58_AVIONICS.INI
As stated above, NEITHER is a perfect choice .. the Hustler had a rather unique cockpit, and did not have the radar display or RWR in the pilot's compartment. These was handled by the Radar Navigator (aka Bombadaier) and the Defense Systems Operator seated behind him. For gaming purposes, this will have to suffice.
You'll also have to rename the 'xCockpit' folder back to just plane Cockpit. This has all the F-106 cockpit bits.
Of course, if one wants to convert to totally AI, simple comment out BOTH cockpt inis, and it'll revert to computer/game AI control.

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COMBAT ACE MODDERS AGREEMENT
The Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye is an American all-weather, carrier-capable tactical airborne early warning (AEW) aircraft.
This twin-turboprop aircraft was designed and developed during the late 1950s and early 1960s by the Grumman Aircraft Company
for the United States Navy as a replacement for the earlier, piston-engined E-1 Tracer, which was rapidly becoming obsolete.
The aircraft's performance has been upgraded with the E-2B, and E-2C versions, where most of the changes were made to the radar
and radio communications due to advances in electronic integrated circuits and other electronics.
The fourth major version of the Hawkeye is the E-2D, which first flew in 2007.
The E-2 was the first aircraft designed specifically for its role, as opposed to a modification of an existing airframe,
such as the Boeing E-3 Sentry. Variants of the Hawkeye have been in continuous production since 1960, giving it the longest
production run of any carrier-based aircraft.
The E-2 also received the nickname "Super Fudd" because it replaced the E-1 Tracer "Willy Fudd".
In recent decades, the E-2 has been commonly referred to as the "Hummer" because of the distinctive sounds of its turboprop
engines, quite unlike that of turbojet and turbofan jet engines. In addition to U.S. Navy service, smaller numbers of E-2s
have been sold to the armed forces of Egypt, France, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Singapore and Taiwan.

Serial numbers are 100% historical for aicraft(s) depicted (both B337 & C-97). All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Pilot figures, various sounds are supplied. The new, updated/upgraded template IS included for other skinners to use.

Royal Canadian Air Force Neptune Mod for SFP2 v1.0 (CP-122)
*** This is a mod of the original P-2H (P2V-7) released by Tracker and the Argentine Modders Group ***
This Mod represent the CP-122 Neptune of the RCAF :
You fill find the complete aircraft in this package.
404,405 and 407 Squadrons
Early (AB + 3)
Early (RCAF + 3)
Late (RCAF + 3)
All decals are made by me. I redraw the panel lines and rivets.
Serials are real one's but not squadron specific.
Background :
The Canadian version of the Lockheed Neptune (P2V7) served as an anti-submarine, anti-shipping and maritime reconnaissance aircraft in the RCAF Maritime Air Command from 1955, replacing the Avro Lancaster maritime aircraft. The Canadian P2V7 was fitted with piston engines initially, although, in 1959, the Neptunes had two underwing Westinghouse J34 jet engine pods retrofitted, similar to those fitted to US Navy variants. Armament included two torpedoes, mines, depth charges, bombs carried internally plus unguided rockets mounted externally underwing. A total of 25 Neptunes served with nos. 404, 405 and 407 squadrons until 1960. Upon unification of the Canadian Forces in 1968, the Neptune was retired and retroactively re-designated the CP122, The RCAF Neptune was replaced by the Canadair CP-107 Argus in the same year.

= For SF2, Any and All =
This is the (hopefully) full, compiled package of FoxMonter' S-3B "Viking" Sea Control Aircraft, upgraded/updated/fiddled-to-fit the SF2 series. I've assembled all the skin/decal sets I could find into one big lump.
Skins included in the pak are:
VS-21 Fighting Redtails +
VS-27 Sea Wolves *
VS-29 Dragonfires +
VS-30 Diamondcutters +
VS-30DS (Desert Storm) ?
VS-32 Maulers ?
VS-33 Screwbirds +
VS-33lo Screwbirds (Lo-Viz) +
VS-35 Blue Wolves *
VS-38 Red Griffins +
VX-1 Pioneers +
The suffix symbols designate the artist that created the skins/decals. The Key is below:
*=HrntFxr
+=Paul Nortness
?=IDK
All decals and decal inis have been fixed and updated to SF2 standards.
Several ini edits to the loadout, data and avionics also update them to SF2 standards (as of Aug, 2011). Wingfold and bombay animations have been seperated; bombay uses the standard Control/O (oh)key, and the wingfold is activated via the Shift/9 key. The cockpit is not equiped with an RWR display, so an 'audio-only' version is used. The flight model is unchanged.
A new, SF2-style photographic hangar screen is also included. I've also included several sounds called for in the data ini.
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full,detailed, easy-to-follow install instructions.
With thanks to all the skinners, and FoxMontor for their work!

Simple mod of Veltro's DC-8 aircraft.
Ive made this to fill my Desert Storm instal.
It is not perfect but consider this as beta.
If someone wishes to add something, improve skins etc...contact me.
Fake Pilot mod is needed to run this mod.
I've made one basic skin thanks to templates from original pack and DC-8 Sarigue mod.
I'm using C-160 pit from florians work. It fits well for me here. In case i want to fly this.

Douglas DC-8 series By Veltro2k
This mod features three versions of the Douglas DC-8 jetliner and historical skinsets from introduction in the early '60s through the mid '80s. A little something for eye candy around the airfields or to run intercepts on.
Versions
*DC-8 representing the original DC-8-10/20/30/40 versions with the quieting tubes on the exhaust
*DC-8-50 representing the final short fuselage version and JT3D engines without quieting tubes
*DC-8-60 representing two of the final new build versions with stretched fuselage.
*several historical skinsets for all models
*flight and nations ini edits to allow airliner nation and a spaced out in line formation
Installation
unzip and load into mods folder. allow merging
Known Issues
* The cockpit is the same pit as in all V2k's big jet planes. Not proper but the plane was meant for eye candy not regular missions
* The DC-8-50 model has a seam running along the spine. Until Veltro makes an appearance again this will be there. It is not noticeable at a distance
*This is a huge mod (4 1/2 GB) due to how i've made the skins, or specifically the tgas for the fuselage.It takes a bigger decal to paint the side of an airliner

Douglas AC-47 "Spooky" Gunship -Version 2.0
= For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged, Plus Expansion Pak 1 =
*Designed with SF2:V in mind*
*Note: You =MUST= have Expansion Pak 1 to access the C-47 lods. If you don't have it, do =NOT= download this mod, as you'll be unable to use it*
MANY modifications to the stock C-47 Skytrain, create the AC-47 "Spooky" gunship for your SouthEast Asian flying enjoyment.
A new skin, using my Home-Grown Template , and enhancements by paulopanz, give it a passble SEA 3-Tone. All markings are decals, and are 100% historically correct for the 3rd SOS. Markings for 18 aircraft are included, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
The miniguns are supplied as a weapon, but exist 'virtually' in the aircraft body (no physical lod). "Parachute" illuminator flares are also supplied for those pesky night interdiction missions.
An SF2 version of my original 'boxart' hangar screen is included.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them!
Also, PLEASE read the "Notes" section -- vital information in there that might assist you in playing this aircraft (pylon turns are a PAIN!!).
Good Hunting!

Readmes from both are included in the main zip
F-89 Scorpion Pak for SF2 6/4/2010
-- Version 2, 3/3/2016 --
This package includes the full set of F-89 Scorpions, from MontyCZ's original C & D version, PLUS the variant mods I'd created, giving the H, J (Early) and J (Late). The various readmes for the sub-variants are included in their specific aircraft folder, just for historical purposes.
This package has been peaked and tweeked for use in SF2 =ONLY=, and is NOT designed for use on SF/Wo* series 1st Gen sims. It makes use of certain elements found ONLY, and usable ONLY, in SF2.
Everything is included -aircraft, inis, skins, decals, weapons, pilots. =EXCEPT= a cockpit. Due to changes in SF2's internal coding, these aircraft now make use of the stock in-game F-4B via ini edits that through sorcery now reach back into the cat files, and create usable cockpits without the need of a cockpit folder. How this works, I don't know or care; but that it =does= is a wonderful thing!!
On such aircraft that have operating canopies (those that use the F-89D lod), the canopy works via the Standard Manual Animation Keystroke , shift/0.
This package is designed to REPLACE the original set, and will drop right over it, providing you have it already. If you don't, no worries! Just install as normal.
As always the standard, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please READ them!
Good Hunting!

C-54D Hilo Hatie
March 2016.
This is fake pilot mod of C-54D by Veltro. Original file can be found here
http://combatace.com/files/file/14309-sf2-douglas-c-54-skymaster-by-veltro2k/
This mod represents Big Safari modified C-54D for recon flight under code name Hilo Hattie. Modifications included installation of a new night photography capability with photo flash cartridge ejector and Reconflex VI infrared camera.
C-54D 43-17235 began operations on 20 April 1962 with a cover story for aircraft's purpose.
Hilo Hattie mapped all of south Vietnam and border areas of Laos and Cambodia. During 10 months of service, the aircraft flew 102 missions before it was replaced by Brave Bull - Big Safari modified C-97G.
So this mod is mostly for players interested in Wings Over Vietnam.
Decals, skins (based on veltro2k templates) - yakarov.
Hilo Hattie ini work (few lines for fake pilot and weaponstations work) - yakarov.
Fake pilot mod is done by me - yakarov.

SF2 Douglas C-54 Skymaster by Veltro2K 9/23/2013
= For SF2, Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED! =
This the release of the Veltro2k's WW2 & Post-War US Cargo aircraft, made most famous by it's use during the Berlin Airlift.
It is REQUIRED that you have some measure of SF2, merged to whatever level, as this mod references the stock An-12's destroyed model. Hence, the need (as I state it always) for a Full 5 Merged install. It is usable without, but you may not have the dead, burning wreckage on the ground. It has NOT been tested in 1stGen SF/Wo* at any patch level. It most likely will =NOT= work, due to LOD coding.
This pack includes the following 4 skins for the C-54:
OD/Grey, with 1942-43 'star-and-ball'
OD/Grey, late WW2 (late 43-later), 'star-and-bar'
Natural Metal, Late WW2, to late 1947 (pre-USAF formation)
"USAF", Natural Metal, post 0ctober 1947 (tagged with Military Air Transport badges star-bar w/red stripe).
The AvHistory engine is included.
Skins are in jpg format, and decal radomization is set to TRUE for all. ALL markings are decals. The damage textures are in DDS format. The template is included for other skinners (and in the hopes someone can clean up the mess I made of it!!
Each skin has it's own Hangar Screen, matching the paint job (more or less).
The cargo loading door/ramp opens and closes with the standard Bombay key (Control/0).
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, give the "Notes" section a read, in particular on operational usage, and the FM and other stuff like that there.
Happy Landings!

UPDATE NOTES
*****************************
IMPORTANT.
Update by 76.IAP-Blackbird. All credits to him. He did great job on this.
He fixed airbrakes and put engine reverse thrust into specified models with TF33 / JT3D engines.
If you already have this pack. You can download just update data.ini of each aircraft. file Updated_Aircraft_Data_only.rar
Please copy data.ini file of aircraft model into specific folder in game mod folder.
Do not use Data.ini of on emodel on other. Even if file name is same.
Example.
RC-135U_70 got different data.ini file than model _80 or _90.
So you need to copy each aircraft data.ini file from each folder of this update into yours game folders.
Just keep this in mind to avoid mess with fake pilot RC mods.
Or you can download whole updated pack and overwrite yuor game files.
If you are downloading it for the first time. No need to download update. It has already updated ini files.
You need FakePilot mod to run this pack.
This is Beta version which means:
- I never finished avionics work. I was trying to do something but lack of time...and it will take me months. So ther is no specific avionics for every model. Just one generic. And it is not working. It really needs some avionics work.
- Skins could be better. I just simple deleted some lines here and there but I've never put so much attention to weathering etc.
- Cokpit is from B-52. Just for test flights. It is included. I don't remember who made this. All credit to him.
- All birds are set as Bobmer so they can fly high.
- For sure it needs some ini work.
- It need still some work. But only if i will find time. Better to upload it now than never. So for now it is realased as in condition.
Pack includes
RC-135C Big Team.
RC-135D Rivet Brass.
RC-135E Lisa Ann / Rivet Amber.
RC-135M Rivet Card.
RC-135S Rivet Ball. first S version under name Wanda Belle and later Rivet Ball.
RC-135S Cobra Ball early as in 1969
RC-135S Cobra Ball as in early eighties.
RC-135S Cobra Ball current version as rebuild in mid nineties.
RC-135U Combat Sent early version with 'Towel Rails' and first paint scheme
RC-135U Combat Sent still early version but with new paint scheme.
RC-135U COmbat Sent late version as modified in late eighties.
RC-135V Rivet Joint eary version of V model with LTV mission equipment
RC-135V Rivet Joint late rebuild with E-Systems humps.
RC-135W Rivet Joint
RC-135W Rivet Joint as above but with new engines.
All serial numbers are historicaly correct. Same as names.
All aircraft were names as code + number "Combat Sent II or Cobra Ball I etc.) I have no information about everything. Info about any of it would be great. Especialy about Rivet Card.
Since whole mod is made via fake pilot there are some limitations.
Biggest "no" for me is first S- Cobra Ball where 663 and 664 carried little different set of sensors.
Some aircrafts were upgraded later than other in same model group. So service date is generic as first aircraft of block build was issued.
Example: first Cobra Ball was flying already 1969 (663 number) but second (664 number) was delivered in 73 if I remember correctly. Same with other aircrafts, they were never delivered same year.
There were few fancy nosearts spotted on RCs but...not this time. Maybe later with some updates
Instalation:
Copy subfolders to specific folders in your mod directory.
Aircraft,Pilots, Decals.
Thats it.
Enjoy.
Report bugs.
Keep an eye on enemy.

SF2 IDFAF C-47 Skytrain Pak 6/10/2016
= For SF2:I (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED ) =
**You =MUST= have SF2I Expansion Pack 1 to have access to the stock 3W C-47!!!.**
Some small modifications, reskining/decaling of the stock 3rd Wire C-47 Skytrain/Dakota
transport aircrft, as used by the Israeli Defense Force. Be advised, THIS mod is designed
for use -ONLY- in your SF2:I mod's folder.
The package contains 2 skins for No. 103 "Flying Elephants" squadron Skytrains:
Brown/Blue camo (mid 1950s thru 1969)
Late 3 Tone Camo (1969-2001)
Skins are in original bmp format. The SF2 "date switch" is used, and the game will
automatically switch over to the late 3-tone in 1969. The Brown/Blue will start in 1955,
although research is not conslusive as to exactly when. For years predating that, they
seem be in an OD/Grey type of paint job (not the NM finish the Game Engine uses).
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Serial & Modex numbers are 100%
historically correct. Both skins use the same 'pool' of number decals. There are no Hangar
or Loading screens, but all sounds and pilot figures are provided. Also included are the
cockpit (for those that haven't made it flyable yet) updated/revamped data, avionics, and
userlist inis. I've also given you my (patent-pending) "One Click Restore" main ini.
As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest
of the readme for the install instructions.
Happy Landings!

this bird is rather old, and has its limitations. it is not meant for flying on recon missions,
but rather mainly for eye candy and somethin to possibly intercept or escort. while you CAN
fly it, that does NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD. that said buyer beware all quirks of this bird like the pitch
down on gear and flap retractions and the non moving control surfaces.
****************************USE OF THIS MOD*************************************************************************
I will allow fairly free use of this mod in any other mod. What i (at this time) request is that you do not
create a new skin based airline for it. the airlines are on as tga so that many airlines show up at one time.
A seperate say "Pan Am" skin will ruin the effect and there will be 8-9 Pan Am birds on the tarmac. Any airline
you would like to see, pm me and i will either tell you how to make it or time allowing make it and add in. Thank
you.

With the end of the war, all of the flying boat versions of the Catalina were quickly retired from the U.S. Navy, but the amphibious versions remained in service for some years The Catalina subsequently equipped the world's smaller armed services into the late 1960s in fairly substantial numbers.
Even if it left service quite soon, this plane was used worldwide and so useful for many our scenarios or campaigns.
For example: Israel '48-56, Timor confrontation, French Indochina, Taiwan, Cuban Crisis, Scandinavian Front(*), an Early Falkland campaign and much more

SF2 USAF/NATO/Western Cargo Planes by Veltro2K
-For SF2, Any and All-
This is a re-release of these aircraft, as some have stated a desire to have them again.
This pak includes all my reskins, decals, ini tweeks,etc, from the various "upgrade paks" I'd
released before the aircraft were disappeared.
This pak contains =ONLY= those aircraft used by the USAF, our Allies and other NATO powers. The
Soviet/Warsaw Pact transports are someplace else....
Included in this pack are:
C-141A Starlifer
C-141B Starlifter
C-5A Galaxy
C-17 Globemaster III
G-222 Spartan (called such in USAF service)
Some may be more complete than others, with regards to decals and such. Some are fairly
'untouched', and will need further decaling, etc. Some hangar and loading screens are NOT in
SF2 format, and will need redoing (meaning: I never got around to them!).
All the original readmes from the Upgrade Paks (I could find!) are included within this main
folder. I'd reccomend reading them, just for fun!
Skin and some decal templates (again, when I could find them!) are included. The decal template
is for the "ttag" decal, that is for USAF AMC usage.
This pak is quite large, as the skins remain in their bmp format. You can convert to jpg at you
convience.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read
them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other important notations. Also, the Legal
Statement has been changed with regards to these aircraft.
For those that still have the original releases, you may not need to reapply this package. But,
to be safe, PLEASE check over your aircraft to be sure. Thank You :).
**These aircraft herein are re-released in "AS IS" Condition. There are/may be some issues with
the LODs that may not/cannot be resolved. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be
solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be created. For now.**
Happy Landings!

B-58A "Hustler"
-- For SF2, Any and All --
This is a modification of Pasko's B-58 Hustler, to bring it more in line with SF2 standards.
If you have the 2009 SF2 Update, just install this directly OVER your pre-existing folders, allowing the overwrite. If you don't, don't worry about it.
Two skins are included (the same basic skin used twice), with all new 100% Historicaly Correct serial numbers, listing each operational aircraft that served with the 43rd and 305th Bomb Wings.
Good Hunting!
