    1. Improved Su27SK flight model for Marcfighter Su27sk/China J11

      This is a improved flight model based on Kreelin's v1.5 su27sk flight model for WOI. And it is designed for Marcfighter's Su27sk and China J11. It should work well also on Su27 if the node names are correct.
       
      The new version is desinged for Wox Oct 2008 patch level. It took me almost a whole week to tweak the bits and pieces of this flight model and now it feels right in both hard and normal setting. Meanwhile AI can handle this very well against any 2nd and 3rd Gen fighters.
       
      Compare to the old flight model that was included in the mig29/su27 flight model pack, this one feels real.
       
      It should not take too much effort to convert it to SF2 standard as I took many data from SF2i inis to this one. I hope someone can help with it.

      the original build-in ECM has been replaced by L005 ECM on additional pylons, that is why there is an additional loadout file prepared for you..

      extract both files to your su-27sk folder and replace the old ones. backup as needed.

    2. Infantry Pack Update

      This is an update for the infantry pack for the WOV Enhanced Ground war Campaign.
       
      Thrilled ith a better ground war, yet unhappy with the lack of ground action I meshed parts of the object DATA files from the infantry pack with those of the superb Falklands mod. Result, you now have ground units that fire, including at you!
       
      Instructions: Just drop the appropriate DATA file intot he folder of each unit in your Ground Objects folder.
       
      Known Issues:
       
      I find sometimes that the VC squad will be facing the opposite direction from the US squad and will nto rotate all the way around to engage in a firefight.
       
      Next: Modding a special forces/ LRRP squad, and modding the M-113 ACAV squad to be a real ACAV squad and not special forces ith an ACAV which makes no sense. Also, to make the NVA Squad look like NVA.

    5. longer exhaust trails

      just something i was fiddling around with. I kinda wanted to make the smoke trails from my planes to be just a bit longer than normal, so i edited the exhaust emitters for the dirty and clean smoke trails. so now, they should appear to be a bit longer than normal.

    6. Approach and airfield lights for ALL WOV airfields V1.10

      Welcome to the Approach and Airfield Lighting pack for ALL friendly airfields for Wings Over Vietnam (WOV).
       
      This pack puts approach lights at the end of each runway and anti-collision lights on all tall buildings and structures, for each type and layout of runway for all friendly airfields.
       
      Updated for October 2008 Thirdwire Patch: Alternative airfield lighting definition files are now included that work with the October 2008 patched version of the game.

      Here is the list of additional lights introduced by this mod, found in the different types of layout:
       
      Tower1 & Tower2
      Fueltank1 & Fueltank2
      Hangar1, Hangar2 & Hangar3
      Bunker1 & Bunker2
      Watertower
      ASR (radar)
      ShelterA (used for ramp and QRA sites)
       
      I've also include a Heli-pad for each layout.
       
      Each building or structure contains at least 1 anti-collision red light (in some cases up to 4 lights) and hangars also contain flood lights facing the ramp area.

    9. Complex Static/Parked Aircraft. Phase I (F4-J, Fmk6, C-130J)

      This pack provides a way to add more life into the otherwise sparsely populated airfields in SFP1 and WOV. I thought that I'd have a go at trying to use existing aircraft as the basis of complex static/parked aircraft. Here is the result. I hope you enjoy using them.

      Many thanks to all those folks who created the original aircraft I've used as the basis for my own editing. And also many thanks for the hints, tips and support over the past few weeks on the forums. Without you this work would not have been possible.
       
      This posting consists of a set of complex static/parked aircraft, a mission (.msn) file that makes use of them, and an extract of the optional changes to the VIETNAMSEA_TARGETS.INI (or equivalent) file that you may want to apply to populate Airfield 1 further with support equipment. Installation instructions are provided in the enclosed README.TXT.
       
      The mission is based at Da Nang, South Vietnam and consists of two squadrons of RAF complex static/parked aircraft and some AI aircraft on final approach.
       
      On the ramp you'll find RAF 74 Sqn and RAF 56 Sqn.
       
      At the North end of the runway are two QRA shelters containing two armed F4-Js and support equipment. All ready to go.
       
      On final approach are a pair of Mk6 Lightnings from RAF 5 Sqn. Lined up behind the Lightnings is a RAAF C-130J transport aircraft on final approach. Behind the C-130J is a RAAF A310 MRTT on final approach.
       
      Two jeeps are also driving around the airfield. The first one circuits the aircraft on the ramp. The second drives to and parks up at the North QRA complex.
       
      More to follow in subsequent phases.

      World pilots:
      These are 2 years of pilots skinning acted as filling some existing gaps with some Nations or specific era pilots.
      Inside you'll find many,many easter eggs!
      I will say thanks to Diego to show me the way to go for them.

      Several variants are included, modify the pilot parameter in the AircraftData.ini file to select your pilot.
       
      Heat: green flight suit with carbon Fiber Helmet
      Moisture: green flight suit with grey helmet
      Dirt: Brown flight suit with camo Helmet
      Death: Black flight suit with carbon fiber helmet.
       
      More variants are in the works, including female flight crew.
       
      Feel free to modify, as long as you give credit where credit is due.

    25. countermeasures and debris edits

      REMINDER
       
      Be sure to back up your excisting aircraftobject.ini, countermeasureobject.ini, debrisobject.ini, and shellobject.ini files in case there is a problem with these files and or you dont like them, so you can
      revert back to the originals.
       
       
      I did this after I noticed that after 3 seconds or so, everything in the game *drop tanks, pieces of planes, flares and whatnot* disappears. So I edited the files listed above to try to make everything
      that falls from the plane, or anything type of countermeasure fall til it hits the ground. So now when you shoot down a plane, or use flares and chaff, it should all fall to the ground before disappear. Now you can watch as every piece of your enemy falls back to the earth. I tried to make it so that more pieces came off, or add more debris from lanes or ground targets. I'll try to work on it and get it tuned up a bit more so that you get mor parts raining down to the ground. and also try to make the flares rate of decent alot less than it is now so it acts more like the real thing. eitherway, have fun.
       
       
      Installation
       
      Just copy these files and paste them in your objects folder. Make sure you back up you original files these replace incase you dont like these, or if you want to reuse the originals.
      Once added, test them out and see if the parts from the planes you shoot down, or the drop tanks or counter measures fall all the way to the ground. Im gonna try to work on this a bit more and try to add even more debris the next time. Anywho, have fun
