    1. MiG-21 Bison aka MiG-21-93 aka MiG-21 UPG

      *************************************
      HISTORY
      *************************************

      In 1993 the MiG-21-93 made its debut on various airshows, for instance in Le Bourget and Berlin. It was a major update for the MiG-21bis which incorporated a modern radar, a modern data link system and modern ECM capability.
      The MiG-21-93 had a dramatically increased combat capabilities. It now can engage air targets at medium range and can use precison guided weapons against ground and sea targets.
      India updated its MiG-21bis fleet to the 21-93 standard and called this bird now MiG-21Bison. The bison showed its combat efficiency in various training combats including against american F-15's.

      **********************************************
      MiG-21Bison for WOE, WOV, WOI, SFP1 credits
      **********************************************
      While making the Bison i used a lot of files made by other modders. Thanks for this files!

      The plane itself:
      ~~~~~~~~~~
      Model by TK
      The Cockpit is taken from Mirage Factories MiG-29A
      ~~~~~~~~~

      Cockpit by Mago

      The added objects.
      ~~~~~~~~~
      I took the MiG-23 drop tank to create the longer MiG-21bis style back of the bird. Then i used CIACHOs AKU-58 file to create the chaff flare dispensers
      And finally my little share
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      I edited the Data file to implement the guided missiles, added the ECM and Chaffs etc. And i modified the original Skin to create a fictional East German Bison, the russian and the Indian version.

      I know that the Indian Bisons are more grey than the light blue, but due the Fake pilot methode i used to place the added objects i had to decide which color this objects should have and so i decided to use a light blue instead the grey.

      I hope that i havent forgotten someone to give the proper credit.

      I .Credits
      ***************************************************
      This is a mode of AmokFloos Su-17M Fitter C. Florian, thanks for the permission to use your files.
      The Cockpit is the excellent Su-7BM cockpit made by Boopidoo and Kukulo.

      My little share was to do some modifications of the Data.ini. I deleted the guided weapons, added armour, modified the decoys and made a fictive egyptian Su-20 skin.
      ***************************************************
      II. Su-20
      ***************************************************
      The Su-20 was the export version of the early Su-17. It had simplyfied avionics and was thatswhy unable to use high developed weapon systems. But it had high survival capabilities. The very robust Ljulka engine was able to "eat" some birds and in one occasion a complete pitote tube without to suffer damage. While life firing tests in the USSR the tanks of the swing wing Fitter were rippled by 12.7 mm bullets with the only result, that the technicians found the bullets "swimming" in the fuel.
      The Su-20 was used by the Egyptian Air Force during the 1973 war against Israel (Yom Kippur war, Ramadan War, October War)

    3. MiG-17PF of the EAF

      ***************************************************
      I .Credits
      ***************************************************
      The basic of my MiG-17PF is the J-5A of Fallout3, which you can find in the Combatace.com downloadsection Modern Era Aircraft/Aircraft of the PLAAF. Fallout3 made a new LOD file, so that an additionally nose section (as in the other MiG-17PF mods) is not longer neccessary.

      The cockpit is the great MiG-21PFM cockpit made by MAGO & BADGER the BAD.

      My share of this new bird are modified ini files and a new skin.
      I made new data.ini on the basic of TK's stock MiG-17F, so the handling of the PF is similar to the F. I also made a new radar by using the datas i have found in the book "Flugzeuge und Hubschrauber der NVA von 1956 bis 1970".

      Thanks to all whos files i have used to make this MiG-17PF.

      ***************************************************
      II. MiG-17PF
      ***************************************************
      The MiG-17PF was the successor of the MiG-17P, which was developed by the MiG OKB as a reaction on the radar equipped F-86 Sabre (Project SP). The flight performance of the P was not satisfying, thatswhy a new engine with afterburner was installed. So the PF was born. The PF was the first all weather frontline interceptor of the Soviet Union and formed for a relative short periode the backbone of the all weather interceptor fleet of the Warshaw Pact countries.
      In combat action the MiG-17PF was used in the israeli-arab clashes but also in Vietnam. Some american spy planes were shot down over soviet territory by MiG-17PFs of the PVO.
      The PF was armed only with 3 23mm guns. In contrary to the chinese copy J-5A the original MiG-17PF had no additionally hardpoints for missiles under the wing. Missiles came later with the gunless MiG-17PFU.

      This mod represents an egyptian MiG-17PF before the 6 day war.

    6. Mig Killer SAAF Mirage F1CZ Fighter (SAAF Modified)

      DESCRIPTION:

      This download includes a complete SAAF Mirage F1CZ aircraft based on the

      Mirage Factory's stunning Mirage F1.- including the aircraft:
      1. SAAF Bush war weapons,
      2. Bush war sand/green skin camo skin of Mig killer No. 213 Rankin,
      3. Nigel's later Bush war grey ghost skin,
      4. SAAF two external tank skins of sand/green camo skin and aluminum

      5. A dedicated Mirage F1CZ cockpit (the F1AZ and F1CZ have radically

      different cockpits befitting their dedicated roles and from reality).

      It has been continually modified over time as newer equipment came in

      and older equipment broke down and needed to be replaced.

      This was the SAAF's major air superiority fighter in the Angolan Bush

      War ("border war") in the mid 1980s against Mig-21s and Mig-23s.

      The SAAF Mirage F1CZs are credited with at least two Migs (but up to

      12 possible). Rumors persist of other air-air victories much deeper

      into the politically sensive Angolan territory.

    8. Aermacchi MB 339A Version 2.0 for SFP1/WOV/WOE/WOI by ID(io)T Team

      Development and operational history

      Aermacchi went on to perform an effective "facelift" on the MB-326 to create the "MB-339", a modernized derivative. The first of two "MB-339X" prototypes performed its initial flight on 12 August 1976, with the second following on 20 May 1977. The first of 107 production "MB-339A" trainers for the AMI performed its initial flight on 20 July 1978, with the type entering service in 1979.
      The MB-339 retained substantial commonality with the MB-326, differing mainly in a new forward fuselage with a raised cockpit, and twin ventral fins plus a taller tailfin to compensate for the loss in yaw stability due to the new forward fuselage. The MB-339 also featured updated systems, particularly rocket-boosted SICAMB / Martin Baker Mark 1T-10F ejection seats with "zero zero" (zero speed zero altitude) capability. However, the MB-339 retained the Viper 632-43 engine; Aermacchi had seriously considered replacing it with a more modern and fuel-economical engine, but the Viper was cheap, reliable, and had good performance. The engine was license-built by Piaggio. The MB-339 retained the six stores pylons of the MB-326G. It did not have built-in cannon, but cannon pods, dumb bombs, and rocket launchers were qualified as stores for the light attack role.The MB-339 has been export in Argentina where ten "MB-339AA" were obtained by the Argentine Navy (ARA), with the type operating against the British during the Falklands War in 1982. Other MB-339A users included Dubai (seven), Ghana (four), Malaysia (thirteen MB-339AM), Nigeria (twelve MB-339AN), and Peru (sixteen MB-339AP).

      The War Trial
      Lt Guillermo Owen Crippa, a young Argentine Fleet Air Arm pilot, was tasked as No 2 of an armed patrol from Stanley airfield shortly after sun-up. The other Aermacchi jet trainer became unserviceable, so Crippa launched on his own. Near Jersey Point he spotted a Royal Navy Lynx helicopter, but as he pulled up to dive on it, he also sighted the ‘enemy’ invasion force anchored in San Carlos Water. Crippa broke off, reported his discovery of the British to his controller in Stanley – and then announced his intention to attack.
      At low level and high speed he emerged from the radar shadow of Fanning Head, and fired all his podded Zuni rockets at HMS ARGONAUT. Crippa then engaged a RFA stores ship with his 30mm DEFA cannon, and before exiting the combat zone, took notes on the number and types of ship sheltering in San Carlos Water. He was subsequently awarded Argentina’s highest decoration for valour in combat. The British were also given a first taste of the courage and determination that characterizes Argentine military aviators.
