As you know, the Bone was forced to sit out ODS because they didn't have the conventional bomb carriers worked out yet. Of course, ODS is ripe for modding into later years with things like Op Desert Fox (which DID involved Bones) and OIF just by adding new planes. Quote

Got to play in the warm-up, Desert Thunder earlier that year too. 3rd Brigade (3ID) was already in Kuwait, 1st Brigade (3ID) went for Desert Thunder, then in August our BN Task Force relived both BCTs, in November we drew go to war ammo, then turned it in. Then proceeded to spend 2 weeks turning in the equipment only to re-draw it the day we were supposed to go home and join TF 3-15 Infantry out in the Udari for a week or so. Got to see B-52s shoot cruise missiles(well we assumed thats what the planes with anti collision lights that would show up above us, and then we would see bright orange flashes, then they would leave were) and a lot of planes take off from Ali Al Salem. MLRS almost shot an ATACM mission, but it got called off. Then went home and I got out of the Army and joined the Air Foce to be a Combat Controller and missed being on tanks the entire time I was in the AF. Quote

HUUUGEEEEEEEE!It seem a more modern and sophisticated concept of big long range interceptor like the 60-80 soviet doctrine (Tu-128 or the unlucky La-250),this "what if" bomber conversion to a "fighter" probably can be a great add for USAF,like a flying SAM site,very interesting. Talking about WoX series,yes it can be a great "what if" add-on,but more than other modern fighters in the B-1R model appears the game lack to engage multiple targets,marking 20 and shoot down 20 is a dream!But a heavenly dream!Wow can imagine do that if it's possible,or a mission in escort of a raptor squadron destroyng a whole opponent fighter formation,will pay for it!
