serverandenforcer Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Just noticed something, nothing big, but when I fold the wings, the AIM-9s don't line up/move correctly with the animations. Don't know if it was ever noticed or not. No bigge though. It's an awesome mod! Here's a pic on what I'm talking about... Quote
gbnavy61 Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Any problems with A/G radar? It appeared to be inop in the Foxtrot (using WOI w/ latest patch). Quote
ArturR Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 (edited) Any problems with A/G radar? It appeared to be inop in the Foxtrot (using WOI w/ latest patch). In FA-18E_avionics.ini change: [RadarDisplayGround_Map] to [RadarDisplayGM] GREAT THANKS ERICJ AND TEAM THIS MODEL IS AMAZING! Edited March 6, 2009 by ArturR Quote
EricJ Posted March 6, 2009 Author Posted March 6, 2009 serverandenforcer. Yep we've known about it (it's mentioned in the readme). FC troubleshooted it as much as he could but pretty much that's what everybody (to include me) has to deal with. Thanks for the reminder gbnavy61, I honestly don't even use the ground radar so for the whole time I didn't even think about it. And thanks! Quote
gbnavy61 Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Ah thanks, ArturR. Don't know too much about the avionics so I didn't catch that when I looked through the file yesterday. Quote
+Dave Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 serverandenforcer. Yep we've known about it (it's mentioned in the readme). Read the readme? Surely you cant be serious? Quote
+bobrock Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I was really waiting for this one, a HUGE THANK YOU, guys ... but it looks like I'll have to wait a little more Quote
ArturR Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 (edited) About this HUD AOB indicator problem. This problem appears in wide display aspect ratio. Normally I play in 16:10 aspect (1440:900) but when experimentally change the aspect to "normal 4:3" bank indicator working well. Maybe TW engine limits ?? Edited March 6, 2009 by ArturR Quote
Mannie Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Wow, thanks Eric. I think I'm going to like this babe! Quote

Spinners Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 (edited) I'm not a massive fan of the truly modern 'glass cockpit' jets but this is a superb add-on and a fantastic package. And including the templates is a very nice touch too! Edited March 7, 2009 by Spinners Quote
+ace888 Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Excellent Aircraft! Thanks to all the guys... Now a dumb question? Which key function to deploy the ALE-50? The read.me describe it as "inert" and will auto "activate" when needed. Thanks Quote
ArturR Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 (edited) Decoy? Its animation key, try: Shift + 1, 2, 3 Edited March 7, 2009 by ArturR Quote
gbnavy61 Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Excellent Aircraft! Thanks to all the guys... Now a dumb question? Which key function to deploy the ALE-50? The read.me describe it as "inert" and will auto "activate" when needed. Thanks Yep, default should be Shift + 2 to stream and retrieve the decoy. From the readme .pdf: Shift+1 = Wing fold/cockpit open Shift+2 = Stream/retrieve ALE-50 decoy Shift+3 = Deploy/retract refueling probe Shift+4 = Deploy/retract refueling drogue (if equipped w/ the buddy refueling pod) Shift+5 = Slimers on/off Quote
EricJ Posted March 8, 2009 Author Posted March 8, 2009 Excellent Aircraft! Thanks to all the guys... Now a dumb question? Which key function to deploy the ALE-50? The read.me describe it as "inert" and will auto "activate" when needed. Thanks I put that in there because realistically, it's a 3D object, with no countermeasure properties whatsoever, or it's just there. Quote
