Luiz Carlos Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 It will be possible to fly red campaigns? Quote
republic Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Thank you THANK YOU for your hard work. I wish there were a way to paypal all those involved in bringing this together. You all truly do deserve to be paid. I am having one weird problem with the F-101C. Once you reach a certain angle of attack the aircraft 'snaps' to an even greater aoa and gets stuck there unless you apply massive down elevator. It does it both clean and heavy. I've never flown the Voodoo in any TW game so I didn't know if that was an actual handling characteristic or if it's a bug. Quote
republic Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Just did some research and answered my own question. Thanks again for NF3! Quote
eddie01 Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Thanks for this mod, appreciate all the work involved! Wanted tp take a look at some of the models before I got started in the campaign. Took the F84 on a Fighter Sweep, with one wingman. After getting up to around 40 to 45 kts during takeoff, the canopy opens, and no combination of key commands will get it closed! Watched wingman takeoff, and he rolled off the runway at 200 kts, heading for town, lol Halfway through town he finally got airborne, and his canopy was open too! Had clean install of WoE, Oct patch added, then installed NF1, NF2, then NF3. Flight model set to Hard, but still getting this problem with the canopy. At almost 300 Kts and at 12K feet, would think it would be kind of windy in that cockpit! Quote
topcat II Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Very excellent job to all Many thanks !!!!! Quote
hotrodss Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Thanks C5 for all your hard work, it is GREATLY!!! appreciated! Quote
manta972 Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 You have install NF1 + NF2 + NF3. ;) Use this install order: 1. Wings Over Europe 2. October 2008 Patch 3. NF1 4. NF2 5. NF3 Each time, i have followed that same sequence WOE + patch then NF1, NF2, then NF3, and i have those same issues..no F16, no Jag, and white F104 ... Cheers M Quote

It seems a lot of the auto-open canopies are not working under the latest patch. To fix, open F84-F_DATA.INI and find the [Canopy] entry. Just delete that whole entry and the problem should go away. republic Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Manta, Make sure that when you install NF1 and NF1 into a custom path you double check it after you select the folder. The NF1 and NF2 installers automatically add "Wings over Europe" at the end of whatever you select, and you'll probably have to delete that off to get it in the right location. I'm betting that's your problem. At least it was for me. Quote

You entered into one of the many problems that the Voodoo faced. C5 replicated it very well. It wasnt an easy aircraft to fly. Quote
JediMaster Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I take it that is part of the "Sexplane" characteristic?? Quote

JediMaster Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Well if it didn't have any missions it wouldn't be that interesting, would it? Quote
column5 Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 Hi C5 in NF 4 is this going to have carriers and missions??? After looking at it I have decided not to include any. The map does not lend itself to it, and we are missing certain key aircraft and ships Quote
