pyro Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 (edited) Nice little touch, depending what year/aircraft you select, the static parked aircraft change. So far very impressed, running stock for the moment, no real problems. Edited March 10, 2012 by pyro
FastCargo Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I'll be really curious as to how the deck is populated...if the Sea King is a separate model, it raises all sorts of possibilities to fully flesh out the deck. Hopefully, this also means I can kill the carrier addon mod I had been tinkering with. FC
+Stary Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 running down the valley, there is tremendous (for Strike Fighters series) sense of speed Soviet strip detail
+Stary Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 Say, are those the stock clouds? FC nope Harold, from my (further tweaked to version, say, v1.1) S.A.R.C.A.S.M mod, seems it works, test for yourself: SARCASM 1.1.zip also my viewlist works too: 1
Gr.Viper Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Behind me is only ruin. Also a Yak, firing the burst that shot me down. Hell, yeah. 2 1000-pounders. run. Mission report said the target wasn't damaged. 1

Fubar512 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 strangely obvious LOD texture error on BIG building: Not a lod error. It's quite obviously the work of Dave. Listen here

FastCargo Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 nope Harold, from my (further tweaked to version, say, v1.1) S.A.R.C.A.S.M mod, seems it works, test for yourself: SARCASM 1.1.zip also my viewlist works too: Awesome sauce! Thanks! So far, from what everyone is saying, the obvious bugs are the 'Fringe' ships and the Map view. Everything else seems relatively minor in a standalone install. I'd agree with what Dave said in the other thread...this is more than I was expecting. Targetable cruise missiles, implementation of the F-14's more complex radar/missile engagement mode, better terrain, WAY better water. more populated carriers, ships with multi weapons... FC 2
+ianh755 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 If you strike me down I'll be become more powerful than you could possibly imagine - See! ("What-if" I know)
+Stary Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 +1 FC personally, I'm happy I did stand-alone, have more time to dig the basics before adding this and adding that and then her sister-in-laws... first landing after first successful mission in Marauders Campaign, forgot (sic!) to deploy hook on first approach... that's why there are checklists! rotate rotate this time with a hook

+Stary Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 Landing "accident" after first F-14A mission in campaign (lone Badger intercept) on approach, I hit too hard, broke my both main gear, plane rotated 90 degree side and went off deck "ejected" feets above water: reminds me certain scene from Hunt of Red October... also reminds me why I love IL2 physics
+JonathanRL Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Loose a plane, get a medal. What is this? JAG? Seriously, I love that show.
