The posts killed South Africa on a few shots. Imagine the crowd reaction if that last attempt made it!

 

As it is, a draw vs Mexico is still good.

 

As for the Mexicans? Yet again they fail to win the opener. Some streaks never seem to end.

difficult to saiy at this stage of the competition

 

but i will bet on germany, argentina or maybe england

 

but beware of the italians they never give up and they make every game very harsh

Seriously though, Green blew a schoolyard save and barely kept Altimore from scoring as well. England is doomed once it runs into a real sharp shooting team.

Unfortunatelly for England, bad goalkeepers seems to be a tradition in their national team.

For one thing, England's defensive weaknesses were exposed for all to see. Sheer speed of the opposition left some defenders at a severe disadvantage a few times and the keepers position is the achilles heel of the team. Two of them are way below average for this level of competition and one is skilled, but lacks experience.
