UK_Widowmaker Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 "This man needs a Hospital" " A Hospital?...What is it?" "It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now" Classic...sadly missed RIP Quote
JediMaster Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 A sad day. I have Forbidden Planet, Airplane, all the Naked Gun and Police Squad stuff on DVD. He had absolute perfect timing. Quote
dsawan Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 sad. We're losing too many entertainers lately. Just found out Irvin kershner who directed Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back died as well at 87. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irvin_Kershner Quote
+allenjb42 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Very sad news. I suppose he ate the fish. Quote
+Dave Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Very sad news. I suppose he ate the fish. This is the best comment so far and I bet you Leslie Nielsen would of agreed. I can't stop laughing. Quote
Slartibartfast Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Must admit on this I watched Dead and Loving it last night... and laughed my socks off not his best but still a good laugh out loud movie... Quote
eraser_tr Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Very saddened to hear the news the other day, he will be missed. He was...unique, so many unforgettable scenes, and sadly people are mostly ignorant of them. Only a handful of people have ever understood an airplane joke when I've made one (off of the internet of course) He's one of the few ever to actually have spoofed their own classic part themselves in a later movie. The only other instance I can think of is Martin Sheen in Hot Shots 2 spoofing Apocalypse Now simultaneously with his degenerate son. Quote
