+Gepard Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 http://www.airplane-pictures.net/news.php?p=929 Spotter pictures of the landing of the 2 libyen MirageF1. Question: Are this rocketpods on the hardpoints? They have no oppenings for rockets.
macelena Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 (edited) Question: Are this rocketpods on the hardpoints? They have no oppenings for rockets. Most western rocketpods have a cover before firing for the benefit of aerodynamics. If you look at the shots taken from the tail on the ground, you can see the rockets and their tubes. Its a french rocket launcher, however, i can identify the type, i´m sure someone else will. Edited February 22, 2011 by macelena
Falcon161 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Damn they were on a mission to strike civilians then thank god they Defected
ShrikeHawk Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Good you guys that defected. Go back after the A-hole is gone and build a better Libya.
Rambler 1-1 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Good on them for keeping their integrity against pressure form superiors. It took balls to do the right thing there. 2
+ST0RM Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Looks like two more Libyan pilots opted to punch out of their Fitter instead of attacking civilians. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/ondeadline/post/2011/02/libyan-pilots-crash-their-fighter-jet-rather-than-attack-benghazi/1
+KnightWolf45 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 i just hope the pilots keep doing this
+Gr.Viper Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Wait. Is he actually asking to help him 'cause he's a victim of Osama? Awesome http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-12570279 Meanwhile there are rumors that North Korea might follow the fasihion http://english.chosun.com/site/data/html_dir/2011/02/24/2011022400582.html
Lexx_Luthor Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 NK now that is interesting, although that's on the border with China where there may be a reasonably healthy black market. Another one a few days ago... Arrests in Zimbabwe for watching BBC + Aljazeera
+FastCargo Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 I doubt it. NK makes the majority of the Middle East look like 'Happy Fun Time Town'. I seriously doubt anything will gain traction there. FC
+Gr.Viper Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Curiouser and curiouser According to the reports, Saif al-Arab, Gaddafi's youngest son, who was sent by his father to cooperate with Libyan security forces in the massive crackdown on pro-democracy protesters joined forces with the demonstrators in the eastern city of Benghazi on Thursday No good info on sources though. Russian news sites (quite content with the oil price rise) say the report comes from an Iranian outlet.
rotarycrazy Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 they should have turn around and bomb kadhafi!
+guyran Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Are a carrier like the USS Enterprise is capable of crossing the Suez canal into the Mediterranean?
Silverbolt Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 (edited) Are a carrier like the USS Enterprise is capable of crossing the Suez canal into the Mediterranean? http://wallstreetpit.com/64142-aircraft-carrier-uss-enterprise-moves-to-the-mouth-of-suez-canal-report ok, i liked the last US position of pushing up Kadhafi , there is needed a little bit more of pression.
