kblomkvist Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 I did this little thingy here mostly for fun. Some of you may have heard about a Polish project of a light combat aircraft/advanced trainer called Grot 2. I decided to bring it to SF2 using the Su-54 model made by @cocas. The aircraft has some weird glitches around air intakes and one of the horizontal stabs works in the opposite direction but... it's still cool anyway. I still need to finish the skin as for now it's mostly only camo, panel lines and very basic weathering. 6 1 Quote

+allenjb42 Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 (edited) 1976. Two Imperial Iranian Air Force BAC Thunderstrike Mk.52's (the export variant broadly similar to the standard RAF Thunderstrike S.2) launch on a recon probe of Soviet defences on the northern border of Iran... With the shores of the Caspian Sea in the background the Thunderstrikes use the hills for terrain masking from Soviet radar The Cold War is at it's height, and the ELINT and SIGINT 'take' from the sortie will be shared with NATO and the Shah's Persian Gulf allies. Persistent rumours that RAF instructors on secondment to the IIAF have been participating in these missions have never been confirmed..... Edited July 17, 2019 by allenjb42 5 Quote

Stratos Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 My hat off Allen, is always a pleasure when I open the forums and I discover you posted some screens, they tell a small story, and always have a nice composition, or things like the AAR missions you build. Congratulations! Mandatory screenie: VTOL SEAD. 5 1 Quote
Sheriff001 Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 (edited) The generic SEA skins are ready to go - suitable for the USAF, Royal Belgian Air Force, HAF, RNZAF, ROKAF, or even VNAF. The RAAF Buccaneer is fully skinned. I am just working on loadouts - specifically a transition from British to American weapons. Bombay weapons are a bit troublesome. My tests showed that SF2 will load Mark 83s, even though they are too long, and will even offer 4 Mark 84s. What I wanted was 4 Mark 82s, or M117s, or 2 Mark 83s or 84s. Unfortunately, it will allow 4 Mark 83s. I tried adulterating the nuclear bomb bay, and it gave me 6 Mark 82s and M117s. I found that 4 M117s will fit in just right. Under the wings, AGM-84, and Paveway will fit just fine. Not too sure about the AGM-142 Raptor - if I have the RAAF Buccaneer serving long enough to use it.
