EricJ Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Just finishing up something I was working on today: Quote
DoctorWho Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 BAe Thunderstrike GR.9, No. 31 Sqn RAF, 2013, somewhere over Dhimar Quote
Wrench Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 since it's existence was revealed in another thread, here's a better look. It's still a WIP (skin wise), so take it as it is. no timetable for release, so don't ask Quote
SayethWhaaaa Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 If you take too long, the Canadian government is going to ask you to delete all traces of it... I thought this one was lost to the ether a long time ago. Good to see it's still around. Quote
FastCargo Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 It hasn't been lost (in fact I'm backing it up 'to the cloud' too)...just, along with my other projects, keeps getting pushed back. Though my wife is Canadian...hmmm...better keep an eye on her... Good to see some progress on the skin. This might motivate me to finish the thing! I was fully in the FM when I took a break from it. Wrench Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 just for grins, I did a 73-style overall green camo (based off the CF-104s) Quote
FastCargo Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Unfortunately, it's about the same status...I was in the middle of the FM work (I was going to make the Arrow and F-108 share the same FM...adjusting for ultimate top end of course) when I was sidetracked by this and that. I just realized how far behind the current engine both models are...they still are using bmps and don't even have spec maps... FC Quote
Wrench Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 these skins shown are jpg ... the engine reads both :) Quote

Spinners Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Thanks Eric. The new skin pack is ace for 'what ifs'. Quote
FastCargo Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Interesting Spinners! However, my comment would be the camo is a little too 'splintery'. I think all the individual coloured areas would be larger. My opinion only of course. FC Quote
EricJ Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Sometimes its good to get out and stretch the wings a bit... 1 Quote
Spinners Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Interesting Spinners! However, my comment would be the camo is a little too 'splintery'. I think all the individual coloured areas would be larger. My opinion only of course. FC Well my 'splinter on a roll' is completely scaleable so I could certainly make the individual coloured areas larger (or switch to Aggressor, SEA or 'Viggen'). I think I prefer the 'humpless' shape of the A-5A to the RA-5C. I wonder what turbofan engines would fit the A-5F in the post-1973 era? Quote

DoctorWho Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Thanks, but all the credits about the camo go to Spinners. He created the splinter pattern, I changed it only a little and repainted with my own colors. Quote
