Wrench Posted March 11, 2016 Author Posted March 11, 2016 don't forget with the Choctaw, there'd have to be 2 versions -- the US radial piston engine the UK Wessex with turbine --- think of the possibilities!! 2 Quote

+LloydNB Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 (edited) At the time of the German invasion, Belgium operated a few Br.19s in its advanced training school. Some were pressed into a communications role. Early progress shots. Edited October 27, 2018 by LloydNB 8 Quote
Gatling20 Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Nice-looking Breguet. And it looks like a new model, not the existing A-Team model. Obligatory screenshot, the Breguet's companion-in-arms, the Belgian Fairey Fox Mk.VI: 4 Quote
+LloydNB Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Actually, the Br.19 is by Stephen1918 and is available on the FE downloads. As the Belgian Br.19s were mainly built as recon (A) or bombers (B) I'm still tossing up whether to paint in bomb bay doors, an aiming portal for the pilot and changing the loadout to include 50kg of small bombs carried vertically. 3 Quote
Gatling20 Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 (edited) Thanks mate, I had missed that release, I have it now. Looking forward to the Belgian skin. Obligatory screenshot: the Netherlands Douglas 8A-3N in 1940 Edited October 31, 2018 by Gatling20 2 Quote
+LloydNB Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Nice! Is there a French navy skin in preparation? Quote
Gatling20 Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Don't know, this Netherland's version is from the A-Team's WW2 Europe Mod (I love all those early-WW2 aircraft). I think the Netherlands skin is the only one they did. Quote
+LloydNB Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 (edited) Well, that's a start on the fuselage. Now on to the wings. Edited November 3, 2018 by LloydNB 3 Quote
+LloydNB Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 (edited) I've managed to move the loadout to under the fuselage but can't get rid of the wing bomb racks. I've forgotten so much while away. Maybe a Greek Skin next. Edited November 2, 2018 by LloydNB 1 Quote
Gatling20 Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 To remove the underwing bomb racks from the Br19, in the [AircraftData] section add the following components: Component[015]=RemoveBit1 Component[016]=RemoveBit2 Component[017]=RemoveBit3 Component[018]=RemoveBit4 Then add: [RemoveBit1] ModelNodename=Empty DestroyedNodeName=LBombRack DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE [RemoveBit2] ModelNodename=Empty DestroyedNodeName=LOBombRack DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE [RemoveBit3] ModelNodename=Empty DestroyedNodeName=RBombRack DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE [RemoveBit4] ModelNodename=Empty DestroyedNodeName=ROBombRack DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUE HasAeroCoefficients=FALSE That should work :) Quote
+LloydNB Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 (edited) Thanks mate! I'll give it a try. In the meantime, I've nearly finished a Belgian Br19 (Ecole d’aéronautique). Just need to do some decals for the "Br19A2B2" and aircraft numbers for the tail. Edited November 30, 2018 by LloydNB 7 Quote
+LloydNB Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 (edited) A slightly different take on the Spanish Civil War - Alas Rojas Squadron. Equipped with 9 Br.19s, 4 Nieuport 52s, 1 Fokker F.VIIB, 1 DH89 Dragon Rapide and a mix of civilian aircraft. Edited March 20, 2019 by LloydNB 6 Quote
