Columbo Rules!

ds, that link tells of a play Falk played in, one I never heard of. Its very interesting. Amazon has one book.

I googled roundabout and found this review...

Play review – “The Passion of Josef D” by Paddy Chayefksy

As always, everything becomes relevant, here, at The CombatAce / Cold War Thudwire.

I don't know much about Peter Falk as a real person, but I can say I thoroughly enjoyed him in every part I ever saw him acting.

RIP, Peter!

Remember his as Coulmbo, a parody of Columbo and the sidekick from the Great Race.

funny, thought crossed my mind -isn't Monk slight ripoff off Colombo? Character wise? I do like Tony Shalhoub (sp?) as an actor, but isn't he trying bit too much to be Falk-like preforming? All his character's psycho issues aside

I think the first thing I saw him in was probably Robin and the Seven Hoods, and of course Columbo. RIP

For all the war movie fans don't forget he was in Anzio too.
