+Florian Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 An E-2C from USS George Washington has tracked a bogey leaving Iran airspace south. A Tornado on patrol was tasked for identification. After the Boeing 747 of Iran Air was notified about a not working transponder, no further action was taken. The airliner continued to Dubai City...with now working transponder. Quote

+Florian Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 First AG 51 mission in Iranian airspace. RECON over Khorramshahr. Arriving over Target. After taking some pictures, Red Crown informs us about a single bogey. We decide to head back into friendly airspace. Over friendly territory the MiG opens fire. Ignoring me complete the MiG-29 goes after my wingman. I got a lock and missed him very close. Some turns later he decides to head home, so do we. Results of the image evaluation crew. Quote
