An E-2C from USS George Washington has tracked a bogey leaving Iran airspace south. A Tornado on patrol was tasked for identification. After the Boeing 747 of Iran Air was notified about a not working transponder, no further action was taken. The airliner continued to Dubai City...with now working transponder.
