+Florian Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Open Day in Büchel. The Gate seems still closed, but i think we can take a sneak peak inside. Staff area is abandoned, well it´s sunday... In case you not know, we´re in Germany. Notice the soccer field! QRA area with Shelters equipped with Weapon Security and Survivability System for B61 bombs. New tower (the old is on the left) with firefighters. Left turn is forbidden because of security reasons. a long row of ammo bunkers. The right road brings us to the POL fuel depot. A bit further the two engine test hangars. And finally an overview from above.... Still need some minor adjustments and vehicles added... 13 Quote

+Sundowner Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Hi friends, about airbase's name, when one airbase change of user like Rheine Hopsten I have two in target.ini, one Raf Rheine Hopsten active from 1945 at 1956 with his target number and one Fliegerhorst Hopsten active from 1956 with a diferent number, are you thinking something like this??? I've done a similar thing recently with my UK airbases, I've created different versions of the same runway [say runway1] in the types ini and given them small, medium and large targettype entries, that way I can change the active years of a base and its changing role over the years....eg, large runway entry [and inis etc] for bomber operations, then a few years later the same airfield is using the same runway but using the small entry and inis for parking etc for fighter operations. You need to have your aircraft "MinBaseSize=XXX" entries set up to match the base sizes you would like them to operate from, it's not perfect but most of the time things work as they should. Quote
Rends Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 Today i moved some ground Targets into towns. 9 Quote
