could be used for missions sort of like in TSF, as a "the Soviets are attacking the..".  but for the amount of usefulness in game,  would take the 707 model and fakepilot the antennea and pods on rather than a whole new model

probably two or three most common (funny thing to say about such a rare bird). correction from earlier, later marks would need the CFM engines as found on Veltro's E-3D.  have a conversion of that taking off the radome, ifp and wingtip pods. earlier versions could use the 707.  again would just need a fake pilot add on.  or would it be easier for a modeller to do a whole bird from scratch?

Thank you Ant!

Yeah the utility of this plane in the game is suspect but I need a project do.

wow reference first rule of marriage, enlistment, and rule 33 of  fight club.............

You can always get around the latter rule, by constructing and deploying an excrement catapult, and hoping that the police don't seize it

Fubar, if you annoy the neighbors enough, the police will always sieze your shit

Looks like a totally new nose\fuselage rebuild...

top pic   shows slight movement of vertices to rough shape..

so many polys are not needed and too many gaps... 2nd pic

nose gear needs new different doors...

new engines

antennaes etc

nose obviously will rebuild

add the new obvious parts too...

might be a major rebuild...

USAF S version  V and W P+w for the S or are they RR ?

RAF W version with RR`s

ive started on new nose...fuse is ok where needed, bit will cut then add new nose...

get it started then on weekend got 3 days off to devote to it...

Russ...its SO big....

Looking good Russ. I am thinking if we can do the early TF-33 versions, then the later reengined ones. Is that k with you?

"In 2005, the RC-135 fleet completed a series of significant airframe, navigation and powerplant upgrades which include re-engining from the Pratt & Whitney TF-33 to the CFM International CFM-56 (F-108) engines used on the KC-135R and T Stratotanker and upgrade of the flight deck instrumentation and navigation systems to the AMP standard. The AMP standard includes conversion from analog readouts to a digital "glass cockpit" configuration."

Just did some checking, All the reengined ones are the CFM-56 and that includes the RAF versions. Its the same engine on the RAF E-3D as well.
