21 as in B-2.1, 2+1, 21st century, 21 B-2 built or $21 billion for the development contract ?

Also, anyone notices anything about the engines on this concept drawing ? I'm sure it's going to drastically reduce costs.

In keeping with the title of its older brother how about "Wraith" or "Spectre"?

It was already mentioned that the new bomber would most likely be twin-engined instead of 4. Seeing as we have the 777 out there with two engines there's no reason a bomber can't have two as well.

However, seeing as they bizarrely didn't go with B-3 (I guess we're to assume they had 18 other designs that were made on paper/virtually that got passed over), I still think 21 is wrong. Looking at this, it's a B-2.1 for sure. MAYBE B-2.5.

Considering how previous bomber programs went and the development hell of most programs since the 80's, I'd say B-21 White Elephant...
