Avrillav Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Hello. I have just reinstalled the SF2 and put all addons I have already used. It is all working. However, after I downloaded new terrains (Iraq03 and Libya), my SF2 cannot recognize these maps in Mission Map sections. However, other maps I have used before work. What is the solution, please? +Gepard Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Are the addon terrains in the correct folder? Quote
Wilches Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 On gen 2 series the terrain must be placed in a folder called "Terrains", no "Terrain" as for gen 1. Quote

+Wrench Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 did you put them in the Mods folder, or mistakenly into the Core Install??? Did you read the readme? 1 Quote
+Gepard Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 (edited) It seems to be the core installation. You must create a mod folder first. Follow the link to the knowledgebase: https://combatace.com/forums/topic/62302-what-is-the-mod-folder/ Edited February 2, 2020 by Gepard Quote

+Gepard Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Seems to be the correct folder. Now make a screenshot from inside terrains folder. Perhaps there is something corrupted. Quote
Gatling20 Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Check whether there is a typing mismatch. The name of the terrain folder (which you call Iraq03 or Libya) has to mach EXACTLY the names for the INI files inside the folder. Iraq03 and Libya are not the correct names. So if it is Menrva's recent Libya Central Mediterranean terrain you are having trouble with, the terrain folder MUST be named LibyaCM, because that is the name of all the INI files in the folder. If you have a mismatch, like just naming the folder Libya, the terrain won't show up. Likewise with the two recent Iraq terrains. The folder must be named IraqWA or IraqWA_03, depending on which version you have downloaded and are trying to use. If they are not, they won't show up. 1 Quote

These in the screenshot perfectly That's strange, mate. I always test my packages, so I don't see why those two you mention do not load in-game. I suggest that you unpack the archives with the latest version of 7-Zip. It's freeware, it's what I use to pack my mods. They usually change 7-Zip's compression algorithms from time to time. It's not the first case I see of an unpacked mod that does not contain all of the necessary files. Make sure you do have IraqWA_03.INI and LibyaCM.INI files inside their respective terrain folders.
