Wrench Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 the 2 seat Tub, not the single seat interceptor. What I've been trying to find out is .... Did the Greek AF ever have their whole fleet (5 birds) in the ADC Grey before switching to SEA 3 tone? I ask, because my research has only turned up 1 in grey; all the others are camo Along that line, my research seems to indicate that the Turks (11 birds) kept their IN the grey throughout their service life. even the Detail & Scale book is letting me down on this ... and the internet just confuses me. more than usual. so, if anyone can shed some light on this; as the mod in nearing completion, I want to know if need to add those skins for the Greeks & Turks TIA!!! 6 Quote

They were reshaped and mounted down lower on the fuselage than on the F-102A. The rest of the airframe was otherwise identical to that of the single-seat F-102A, and the same weapons suite could be carried. However, the Hughes MG-10 fire control system was not fitted". https://www.grissomairmuseum.com/exhibits/gallery/trainers/plane-17-2 Edited June 20, 2021 by Veltro2k Quote

PFunk Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 (edited) My word, that must have given pilots the weirdest sensation to fly. The arrangement just looks so odd compared to the modern design of multiseat combat aircraft. The only one I can think of that is still in use is the Platypus. Edited June 23, 2021 by PFunk Quote
