Is there a way to give a runway a direction of 239.5° instead 239° or 240°?

Nope, as far as I know. I had the same issue with some airports on some of the terrains I made. You can only approximate to either 239 or 240.

Okay, the runway problem is not to solve on the easy way.

As you see the runway object does not fit to the terrain tile. It is set to 240°. If i set it to 239° the mismatch is on the right side of the runway.

Thatswhy i decided to make an invisible runway.

The problem is, that from distance it looks good, but if you drive over the runway during takeoff the resolution of the terrain tile is low and it looks terrible.

I think i will set the invisible airport to small_airport and so the most american fighters will not use it as base, but only as target.

That should work.

As a non-functioning airport, you can use everything except the data ini statement. Done this a few time in WW2 terrains, where I want an airfield to attack, but not to as a base for enemy usage

Quote

[TargetArea052]
Name=D1 Airfield
Position=191000.00,803000.00
Radius=6000
ActiveYear=0
Location=1
Alignment=FRIENDLY
AirfieldDataFile=desert_airfield1.ini <---remove this statement
NumSquadrons=3
Target[001].Type=Runway1
Target[001].Offset=0.00,0.00
Target[001].Heading=60.0
Target[002].Type=Tower1
Target[002].Offset=-66.16,0.09
Target[002].Heading=0

Then if using a stock one, all the terrain object goodies will still show
