Well slap my ass and call me Spanky...there is a new model of the T-38 out...2 of them in fact! A 1/48 and 1/72 scale T-38 by Sword...never heard of them til now (I've been out of the plastic model thing for a while). Looking at pictures of completed models, they look better then the models previously mentioned....though they still have problems. Hmmm...may have to go shopping... FC PS Double hmmm...seems like the PMP mod kits are scheduled for a Oct/Nov 09 release....

There are no good 1/72 scale models of the T-38 available. Hasagawa made one a long time ago, and was one of their first models...but sadly, it's a really a misshapen F-5B. It's pretty bad, and the Chinese/Korean copies made since then are from the same mold and are just as bad. There is a 1/48 scale model around (Italari) which is better, though the cockpit is badly bare and the nose is too flat. Also, I think the scale is slightly off (like a 1/50th in actuality). Though you do piss me off on a regular basis , usually the reason someone doesn't jump in to help with a request is because they're too busy with their own projects, or they just aren't interested enough, or like me, don't have the skinning chops. You win some, you lose some. Everyone tends to have their own areas of interest and rarely stray outside of it unless it's something they're interested in themselves. Look for my thread on the performance of SF2 on Win7, Vista, and XP. The short version is...if I had the choice between Vista and 7, 7 wins hands down. Between XP and 7, it's more of a tossup...however, the performance gains with the enbseries mod will ONLY work on Win7/Vista, it does not appear to work on XP at all. FC

It isn't weird, the rail is the problem. That's why I wanted to see the Brimstones on the Brimstone weapon rail on other aircraft to verify it's the rail and not the aircraft. I've noticed that sometimes when a weapon rail is first imported into SF2 and used the first time, it screws with the data.ini and put's in some weird rotation angles. I'll bet if you look in the data.ini of the Brimstone rail, you'll see the attachment angle parameter has a ridiculous value on one of the axis. Fix that value (the only angle that should be something other than zero is the pitch angle...negative single digit...just don't remember what that value is). That should fix your problem. In addition, as far as I know, the Brimstone only mounts on it's specific rail and is not supposed to use any other rail. FC

UAVs aren't smart enough to understand the 3 laws. UAVs also have some serious limitations under present technology...you just don't hear about them. FC

If you simply want to add them without an external model, it's simple data.ini changes. Find an aircraft that has them and simply copy and paste the entries (both the SystemName and actual entries). Obviously you'll have to do some adjustments on location and direction/velocity of ejection. FC

AmokFloo is exactly correct. We don't necessarily need a super detailed readme (though there are some very nice examples on this site). I can understand why folks where English is not a primary language would find it difficult to make one. However, even a simple readme explaining exactly what the person was trying to accomplish would have been helpful. Files like this actually generate MORE problems then they solve...and is especially aggravating when A) the upload text says to read the readme and the readme contains NOTHING useful and B) the files uploaded will actually 'break' a person's install and cause problems and frustrations - especially for someone who may be new to ThirdWire sims. No one here wants to be the mod police. We want folks to upload their mods...but even simple ones that correct the spelling of a town in the GermanyCE terrain have a readme or at least an explanation of what is trying to be accomplished in the mod description. If you are going to take the time to mod something and upload it here, then you have the time to provide at least a basic readme. FC

A) You can definitely run out of fuel...verified it several times. B) You will still get an engine RPM readout on the HUD even if you're out of fuel. C) It still takes a while to run out of fuel. FC

Well, if not, you'll find certain 'all in one' mods that are just as polished as a payware release, but add much more atmosphere to the basic sim. FC
