SF2 Prop Wish List
FrankTB replied to daddyairplanes's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - World War II Forum
More french aircraft is a great idea for the 39 to 40 era the Arsenal vg 33/39 is a really good looking fighter also the Potez-230 is another one as far as bombers go the Amiot-350 to 354 would be good too. -
I think I will wait for the amg version

FrankTB replied to FrankTB's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
Thanks for the reply Wrench yes this is for for using in SF2 I should have mentioned I was referring to the external F6 view and have been renaming to match which usually works on most but was trying to change the canopyglass on the Yak41 but nothing was working for me. Dont normally ask for advice as I keep bang away till I solve it. -
would appreciate some advice on if its at all possible to improve the canopy glass on a couple of older SF1 aircraft which have rather some what opaque texture and no reflection have tried some other canopy tga's with no change and looked but haven't found any infor on this subject. thanks to anyone who takes time to enlighten me.cheers Al

FrankTB replied to ordway's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
ordway I dont know if its any use to you or not but I tried the two enteries in the cockpit in in one of the F-4 and got the same results showing a opaque image of the frame so I tried the F-4ES cockpit and hud update in the Viggen as it dosent have a front frame and added the two edits and it worked fine with this cockpit -

Hi ordway checkout the old Mig-29A pit mod cockpit ini done by Fubar back 2005 its a mod of the F-4E cockpit and has the cockpit ini edits you need. you will find it in the Cockpit downloads near the end. Im very interested on how you get on with getting rid of the instruments you dont need. -

Saganuay82 I found the F-23A cockpit a fairly good match and would be ideal if the frame could be removed is this at all possible? also I discovered you dont wont the fuel set on hard I put my foot on the gas and felt like I was gonna shoot out into space but ran out of fuel in no time. -

Saturn3 Flesh Gordon (not to be confused with Flash Gordon, great special effects) as for The day the Earth stood still and forbidden Planet saw them like when they were new. -
You got me going there, had to do a quick search for a old Dr Who magazine it was the Romana 2 Lalla Ward 1979/81 there was quite a age difference between her and Tom. I am glad I kept that old 20th anniversary magazine because I was having a clean out recently and damn near tossed it out then I thought you never know I might just need to look something up did not imagine I would need it this soon and how did I know about him getting married to her. Im ashamed to say I read it in a gossip mag.

I think I have properly seen all of them from the first to the latest and Tom Baker was the best doctor who certainly a hard act to top as for the early shows they pretty dated by now considering how long ago they were made. Also Tom Baker got married to his sidekick Romana in real life but it did not last just goes to show not all things end up going the good doctors way.
