Three new Images Added via Facebook about 12 minutes ago... (is it me or does it look like TW is taking hints from 3rd party mods in regards to Particle Effects/features) -
Ok, I tried this a few months ago (almost a year) and it didnt really work at all, but it was a driver issue with the Camera I was using. I was using a Xbox Live Vision Cam, When I tried it before the Camera was defaulted to 1280x960x7FrPS, (I tried to change it before using my normal Direct Show Programs, no Dice). So I recently decided to uninstall and re-install the Xbox 360 Peripheral Drivers (controller, Vision Cam, Headset, Kinect drivers in one package to devs)(normal users can download them individually). Booted up VirtualDub x64, changed it to 640x480x30FrPS, closed V.D. Booted FaceTrack NoIR, v1.5 (not sure if I have the Exxx-update or not). Chose Track IR/default.ini, hit start, it recognized the camera and my face, tracking was working according to the readout. Now I boot to SF2, and it tracks, but Y Axis is reversed (I look up and the camera pans down and vise-versa). Tried ticking the invert axis, didn’t work, then it all stopped working, so I called it a Nite. Other Notes: High Core Usage (up to 80% of one core), causes some issues in the game. Wont be a problem when I Upgrade to FX-8150 (only on Dual Cores now). Track was lost if I turned my head too much. So Question was, How do I get the inverted axis fixed?, I’ll prolly download the v1.6 beta and see if there isn’t an update to the program that it uses to track facial features.

Finally got this partially working on my system. Using Xbox Live Vision Cam (had to tinker w/ drivers to get the camera to work with the correct resolution). (640x480). It worked a few times, but i stepped away and it lost track and then it stopped working other than that, my main problem is one of the AXIS is inverted, checking the Invert box doesnt do anything, So In Strike Fighters 2, when I look up, the camera looks down, and when I look down the Camera Looks Up. other than that and the mis-track issue, I also have a 25-70% CPU usuage on my 6000+ x2 (which one be a problem when my new system is done FX8150.) anyone have any settings suggestions to help with tracking stability and inverting the one axis (i think its Y)

you can try to drop the ALL the settings to LOW, but i seriously doubt the Intel HD 3000 GPu Cores in the core i3 have enough to run the game, neither is the 64mb of dedicated memory, shared memory is not the same. increasing the dedicated amount of ram to 512/1024 mb might help. (if Dell didnt lock the BIOS options)

hrm, i remember when it was introduced in a WoV patch that was a issue with planes not responding to the moving deck, TK said it was only for other ships.. so me and someone else that was doing another carrier abandoned it.. TK prolly adjusted it so that when the ship pitches the "Landing Height" Square Area/Plane and all of the Coordinates for deck items and systems pitches with the model. im still trying to figure out why the title doesnt like the collision nodes i make, its gotta be something stupid in max, but until / unless i get something to compare the MAX/INI files with it will take a big of time to figure out. -

yeah I abandoned this along time ago, and TK never mentioned fixing it, when it was first introduced planes would remain at deck level as teh deck moved, planes would seem to sink into the deck or float above it, but that might have been fixed with the "collision mesh" which my carrier doesnt use because of some random glitch in the model or ini somewhere that prevents the game from loading my collision.lod.. hopefully w/ SF2NA and a new model this issue is gone. which carrier are you using it on? -
Anybody noticed?

lol, only on CombatAce.... -
I forgot how the speech is setup and im not at my home, so, tomorrow when I get a chance, I’ll go zipping into the SF2 CAT files. Im pretty sure there are "filenames+event+number.wav" (xxxxtaxi001.wav or something like that) for each "Identifying" voice in the speech CAT. Any one that wants to re-record mearly has to open the wavs, play it, open another window (using Audacity for example) Use a Headset Mic, and say the original phrase, save wav in the same format (xx-Bit, xxKHz, Mono/Stero) etc. Last time I looked in the WoI files… it was A LOT of re-recording per voice. I dunno bout ya’ll but I might throw in some more emotional comments. Lol… If only there was a way to ADD more dialog for random events ( you know the stupid crap from Top Gun. )
