The deal is the program files folder is read-only now, so a lot of stuff is done in your profile instead. So you may want to create a folder named "games" for something like EECH that wants to write back to the main folder. As for Il-2 and SF2, you don't need to worry about those, they work fine. No clue on FS9, haven't touched the series since FS4!

There are a LOT of 737s out there. As for how many of the older ones, I'd say quite a few still! -
I don't know, CFS3 was IMO relatively polished. It ran slow on anything but top-end systems, and it was missing some things we'd have like to have, but it was complete. It also had the largest map of any WWII sim released since then. All the Il-2 maps are far smaller, and well there are no other WWII sims! Only EAW had larger IIRC.

Well, that's the trick. Lower the settings on most any game and you can get it to run well. Your screen is relatively low res (13x7) so that should help minimize the stress on the system vs a higher-res screen.

That should handle everything great with the exception of A-10C. I hear it's a real bear, so you may not be able to crank those graphics up like you will in the other sims.

Don't the canards have deicers built-in? What's the consequence if they ice up? I mean, they're only used at low-alt anyway, where icing usually isn't as big of a problem, right?

Those guys aren't being forced to fly roundtrip combat sorties from CONUS, are they? They're staging out of somewhere closer? That would be some punishing flights.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I take it you don't have either heavy bomber either, like me? I would guess the key would work the same for those.

The most I do is pizza and a soda. I don't have a stomach that likes greasy food, that stopped around the time I hit 30. A "great" meal isn't worth hours of pain and an hour in the can.
